I can't put it in words (so here are some words )

The best I could do is use some examples -

        DLH vs Trinidad
        Pac vs Horn
        Pac vs Bradley 1
        Pea vs Ramirez 1
DLH vs Mosley (1 or 2)
        (victim is on the left)

When a guy is reduced to throwing, and maybe, landing 1 punch at a time.
When a guy resorts to dirty tactics hoping to cause a cut or fool judges into thinking dirty is ''effective aggression''.
When a guy is so thoroughly outclassed you just can't find rounds to give him.

Usually, when it's all tallied up, he who lands the most wins.
How can a guy who lands less win a fight ???
In what scenario, that doesn't have knock downs, can a guy who landed less punches win that fight ?!?!?

''Compubox (humans counting punches) DKSAB !!!''

Let that same person see his hero get robbed and see how fast they turn to punch stats to state their case -

''My guy OUTLANDED that guy 4 to 1 !!!! Straight up robbery !!!''

Judges who favor a certain style should be banned from judging. You don't score style unless it effective.

Good post man...for the record, I only cite compubox when it more or less backs up what I see in the ring...which makes sense in a way...I think all compubox is, is two guys counting the punches, one for each guy...most of the time those guys get it about right, since that is all they are looking for...but sometimes they seem to miss a lot of the work that one of the guys is doing imo.

                ... omg...
Canelo had no one round in either fight where he significantly outlanded GGG...I just can't really take anyone seriously who says Nelo had 5 clear rounds...in the first fight of all things...just wild imo...and that's me saying that Nelo did not have 1 round where he significantly outlanded GGG, not necessarily compubox...though compubox had basically the same numbers I do when I watch those fights, and they often times get it right.

If someone really hates GGG they can try and say he didn't 'live up to expectations' vs Nelo and even Jacobs...but to say he didn't win those fights quite clearly...I mean just very biased imo.

Also I have never really said a bad word about Nelo or DJ or any other fighter on here...if I critique a guy/his resume, I do it without resorting to name-calling of him, and still give them credit where it is due...I don't get my self-worth out of my guy winning or the 'other' guy losing, so I don't really give two sh.its about who wins a fight when it starts...just let the best man win...these dudes are getting beat up for our entertainment...the least we can do is acknowledge who the better man was when it is quite clear.

If robots could count punches, they'd be judges

The human element leaves room for error. This is why is used ''usually''.

When a so called fight fan defends a clear robbery (because either their guy received the gift or the victim is a fighter they hate), that fan should start wearing dresses and peddle their ass at $5 a pop. Half if the customer has a coupon.

Unfortunately that would be how it seems...your image prompted another thought of mine...I thought Fury-Wilder was a draw...not really seeing how people had Fury clearly winning that many rounds in that fight...and Wilder with the 2 10-8 rounds gave himself a chance...just the all over reaction of some fans in these fights is weird imo.

Like to me it is obvious when it is a close fight...and when there is a clear winner.

yeah that's kind of my feeling too...I honestly don't care one bit if the guy I like going in wins...if he is good enough he will win, if not the other guy wins, who gives a sh.it...just call it like you see it ya know
