I think you misread that and took some weird offence to it.
Because I didnt say he had the iq of floyd or canelo or ward.
If you think he didnt fight with high ring iq, then you simply dont have an eye for detail.
Spence shifted his intention after about the 2nd round and wanted to get into Porter's fight and beat him at it.
He chipped away at Porter's base which led to that knockdown by the way. Which led to a lot of Porter's offense changing and Porter relying heavily on the rope switch trap. Which Spence adjusted to and neutralized as well.
Majority of the punches he did land, they were clean. At all aspects of compubox, Spence had over Porter. Thrown, landed, percentage landed, power punches, jabs, body shots. Spence had over Porter.
If you think the only way to adjust to an opponent is how Floyd fights, you are wrong.
Spence brawled with him but knew what he was doing the whole time. He waa reading the fight the whole time. Even when Porter started springing traps and turning Spence, Spence knew it and immediately turned back. Wrap ups, shifted Porter out of his favorite area.
There's much more to it than just watching and thinking they're just winging it.
In fact Canelo did the same thing Spence did in this fight. The difference being, when Canelo decided to play GGGs game he got a draw out of it. So, I would say yes Spence's ring IQ is very much up there.
So instead of being offended and resorting to ad hominem. Think with clarity or just ask a question of why someone thinks that. Rather than being a typical nsb inhabitant.
