Look at it this way. We'd get to see whose balls hold up better. Might be a modern day version of Gainer/Norwood, what with both Crawford and Spence tossing low blows on each other.

I honestly thought Errol would KO Shawn, I did not however realize that Shawn's crazy ridiculous chin was indestructible. So I stand corrected.

The only reason Spence downed him was because he blocked his right vision from the incoming left hand, so the neck muscles weren't engaged. Bit dirty, but clever.
But if it wasn't for that, Shawn was not going to be broken.

Overall I felt like Errol was not using his skill set to the best of its abilities, but with the knockdown and the strong finish in the final rounds included I would say that Errol was rightfully declared the winner.

I'm excited now what Spence can do at this level against fighters who don't smother his work. From what I've seen so far, no one fights like Shawn.

This just proves you won't have your way against everyone. We know Spence has the skills now we know he has the will

Lol funny because before the fight porter was a C Level brawling ex football player that lost to Ugas.

In fact, the Porter we saw tonight would give Crawford all kinds of hell just like he gave Spence all kinds of hell. He's just that dude like I've been telling people.
I was cheering for Porter cause my brother was picking Spence. I know Porter is all heart and his style is rough for everyone. But his style doesn’t score him the close rounds with most judges just on aesthetics. I love his chin and work rate. But when ur shorter and swing hard and miss wide it looks bad. I don’t think he will ever get bias on his side say how someone like Nelo can with his nifty work. I’m not a fan of Spence though he is good. I mean Porter was the one that got dropped though. I’m just a huge fan of Crawford, so maybe I’m just psyching myself up. But I just think Bud can lay better traps and use distance better than I saw tonight. Hopefully we can see Bud fight a top guy. I had Porter being closer to a 3-1 underdog. But at this top level he can outperform his odds but not take the win. I have mad respect for Porter. But 147 is a tough nut.

What you saw tonight was what I've been saying about Errol Spence. We have NEVER seen him in a true trench fight until tonight. He passed the test, only just.

This will be a signature fight for Errol. He managed to do what both Thurman and Garcia failed to do.
Tf you talking about? Thurman did much better against Porter compared to Spence.

Tommy would be undisputed at 147, 154, and maybe 160 in today's era.

Yet replays not only show that Porter's trunks were high, but that the supposed low blows were actually on the upper area of the belt line.
