Funny cuz Aj & Fury aren't PPV without D.Wilder either & he was smart to turn down a deal that wouldn't of got us the fights we want to see....he can control his own career.Comment

The immediate money doesn't stop those fights, its the promoter that doesn't want their fighter to lose to fighters like Errol, Devin & D.Wilder.Comment

That doesn't even make sense, even Breazeale was PPV for AJ, Wilder couldn't do a PPV and that's why he needed Fury ? Wilder in control of his own career ? Come'on no one is buying that. HaComment

To do the fight Showtime would have to put up a guarantee, but the amount required in Showtime's view would have meant losing money because it was so high and the PPV likely won't do nearly enough to justify said guarantee. It was basic math. Fox obviously has a different view.
I wonder if its too high too high or just too high for what Stevie E reasons is a bad time to show boxing ie during football season.Comment

Breazeale might have been PPV in the UK where there PPV standards are low. Could of swore it wasn't PPV in the US. AJ hasn't really drawn big ratings in the US with Showtime, HBO or DAZN. No UK PPV in recent years would have been a PPV in the US.Comment

I guess you don’t know Showtime passed on the fight because they couldn’t guarantee him an amount as meagre as $2million in context of what the other top heavyweights are making. When you’re fighting on PPV - there’s always a guaranteed token, pending what the fight does in box office sales, which are later added to the guaranteed purse split. The joke is on you, lol.Comment
