In other words, Wilder is not a PPV attraction without Fury or AJ. He is still anonymous and no one cares about this rematch.

You make absolutely no sense the money was there for the unification of titles which is why breazeale was saying in build up to wilder fight he was going ruin plans and get the rematch with aj try again

Also, for the Fury and Wilder fans that are still reaching to justify their ducking idols, think about this. Wilder vs Joshua would sell out Wembley, no matter what the ticket prices would be. Wilder vs Whyte would sell out most arenas and some stadiums in the UK. Wilder vs Povetkin would sell out in Russia. Fury vs Whyte would sell out most soccer stadiums in the UK. And of course Fury vs Joshua would sell out anywhere around the world. Can any of you Wilder and Fury fans give me one good reason as to why these fights won't happen? Because Hearn and AJ have tried to make them happen for years now, yet Wilder and Fury are happy fighting Wallin, Washington, Arreola, Schwarz, Ortiz ( who has never beaten a top ten guy and is old), Szpilka, Pianeta, Seferi, Duhaupas...are we seeing a pattern?

What happened to Al Haymon and PBC bringing big time boxing back to free TV???? Any halfway decent fight is on PPV. What a joke.

To do the fight Showtime would have to put up a guarantee, but the amount required in Showtime's view would have meant losing money because it was so high and the PPV likely won't do nearly enough to justify said guarantee. It was basic math. Fox obviously has a different view.

There have been reports for weeks that FOX and SHO were fighting for the rights to the PPV. The bidding got so high and FOX's offer was so aggressive, that SHO could no longer afford the fight.

And in your view, that means Wilder isn't a PPV attraction?

                      Clearly FOX disagrees.

We'll just have to see what the numbers end up being. I think the fight will easily do 250,000 buys, but I'll be happy to admit you were right if the PPV flops.
