Why are so many non-Americans in this thread worried about if it'll be on Fox or Showtime instead of worrying about what station in their country will pick it up?

How many Americans even know that it's happening, and how many would give a shit if they did know?

Why do you care how we watch the fight?

And? It was $100 million guaranteed to fight AJ with a rematch and two more fights.
He won’t see anywhere near that without DAZN.
His PPV against Fury underwhelmed and his next fight was on regular Showtime.
It’s not like Wilder is calling his own shots.

I don't. your post that I responded to had nothing to do with that.

Wilder fans can spin this all they want. But in the end, Wilder is not a marketable product because he keeps fighting bums, gatekeepers and has beens. Over 40 fights and only 2 decent opponents. No one is paying PPV to watch that crap. Go look at some of the crowds at Jack Dempsey’s fights. They literally had to BUILD stadiums of over 100,000 just to hold the crowds. That is because Dempsey fought the best of his era. He didn’t make up excuses like ‘loyalty” and lowball when he was offered life changing money to unify. Wilder has never fought AJ, either Klitschko, Haye, Povetkin, Pulev, Whyte, Parker or any of the best fighters of this era. He has had an excuse as to why he won’t fight them, every time. And you idiot Wilder fans go right behind him, pumping him up every time he ducks. Lewis, Tyson, Ali, none of these guys had a problem getting networks to show their fights. As a matter of fact, the networks were fighting EACH OTHER to get the rights to their fights hahahaha. What guys like Wilder and Fury don’t understand is, if they actually fight the best guys, win or lose, they win respect and fans will show up and pay to watch it. Ali lost 5 times but that never mattered because he fought the best of 3 eras. So when a guy who makes 1 to 2 million a fight like Wilder, turns down 120 million and unification, stop making excuses for him. Call him out on it. Then maybe he will finally grow some balls and fight someone good. Then the arena or stadium will be packed. And then we will ALL watch it on whatever network is lucky enough to broadcast the fight

The bidding for the fight got so expensive that Showtime couldn't afford it.

Which somehow indicates to you that nobody cares about Wilder?

So not shocked by this move. This fight feels more Showtime than Fox, but Showtime dont want it lol.
FOX and SHO have been in a bidding war for months over this fight, FOX makes a bid so large that SHO has to bow out and that indicates to you that SHO didn't want the fight?

This sums everything up right here . Hopefully Ortiz can hand him his official L but at 49 its highly unlikely. It would pipe the people behind him down and make the other fights possible, only thing stopping them is protecting his undefeated record as padded as it is.
