FOX is putting the money up while Showtime want favors simply because PBC Started with Showtime but it is no way Showtime can expect fighter to take less money just to be Loyal To Showtime when Fox is willing to pay up on top of being able to reach more homes and have your fights Promoted during the NFL Season on their BIG NETWORK. Showtime can stay in boxing and just show the fights they can afford but they cannot be upset with PBC going to the highest bidder

Only thing is with PBC Roster being so big, they need more than one network to keep all these fighters active so I don't know if this means the deal with Showtime is Done or what, if so PBC better be working on a deal with another Network or something, if not then fighters will be lucky to fight once a year with them only depending on Fox
    Very good post.

He bet on himself like he said he would and he's winning

Why am I not surprised by this? Of course, Espinoza won't be able to come up with the needed funds for the event. Showtime simply cannot afford it. Ortiz alone wants $5 million. Man even the PPV king Mayweather TBE never offered that kind of money on such Ortiz-level opponent.

This is what happens when fanboys cry lowball too much when the offer is coming from outside of their street. Karma bites hard when it strikes back.

Sterling post....very true. PBC should put more of its lesser fights on showtime but clearly FOX has taken over the big names due to money

Looks like FOX and ESPN will be coming together for the Wilder-Fury rematch if Wilder beats Ortiz again

Still the same plebs taking about wilders money and popularity.....does the uk have real boxing fans anymore or just Hearn fans who want to see Eddie be important in the USA?

He didn't bet on himself. He got brainwashed into thinking he did by Finkel & Haymon who didn't want Wilder help Hearn by fighting on his platform.

If you think he will have made 100 milion by the time he fights Fury for Breazeale, Ortiz II and Fury II that's on you.

It was a duck, plain and simple. No way around it.
