And of course Manny was a threat. LoL
Shane was shopworn and as low risk as it gets. 1 1/2 years out of the ring the Margarito win was a distant memory. Had already been in too many wars to mention. Why you think the talk was/is Floyd cherrypicked the right time to dip his toe in the water.

Floyd beating a prime, undefeated Hatton, Alvarez, and Corrales is miles more significant than a shopworn Shane Mosley.

No one has a problem with adverse opinions. We respond if we disagree. What bothers you is people that disagree with you post facts you can't refute. Then, as you always do, you try to divert to something else.

Ok the public voted Khan and Floyd fought Maidana. He didn't give the fans what they wanted that time. Ok, that doesn't equate to not taking risks his whole career.

No one is crying about anything. I disagree with a point and responded to it. That what thread discussions are about.
You wished death on the man point blank, and everybody knows how you despise him so it's not far fetched.

Face it you can't take peoples criticisms about Floyd Money being a risk adverse cherrypicker.
Refuse to see that with each fight he digressed into the no risk, high reward individual he is right now. But it'll be alright they extending that sale on tissues at Wal-Mart.

Weirdo take. Floyd has a resume all but a few guys in boxing history would be envious of. No one today is consistently fighting as good fighters as he was. Look at anyone, every time they book one good fight they follow it up with with a **** matchup. Look at Canelo and Golovkins fights with Rolls and Fielding, Crawford against most of his opponents, PAC vs matthyse etc. If Floyd is a cherry picker then everyone else in boxing today is worse and has a worse resume. PAC is the only one comparable and they stand far above the rest of their generation

Sorry but Canelo actually weighed in at 153.5lbs in the Trout fight. Canelo was adamant about him not being able to make 152 because it would be a struggle.

          As for Cotto,

Cotto was the one who suggested 145lbs while Manny's camp said lower.

"Yesterday Cotto said he is sticking to his decision to fight the pound-for-pound king at 145, no more, no less."

          worried about 145?

"If we thought that we would have trouble making 145 then we would not have taken the fight.
In my last fight with Clottey, I didn't have to do any exercises for more than 24 hours and I came in at 146lbs." - Miguel Cotto

Reporter: How about going down to 145 are you going to have a hard time doing that?

"No, in my last fight I weighed 146" - Miguel Cotto

"“When we took this fight, we decided that we were fine with 145. We knew we could do it and we knew we would be at our best the next night,” he told DoghouseBoxing.com.

We would not have taken this fight if we didn’t think I was going to be at my best the next night after the weigh-in,” Cotto continued."

          After weigh in:
Reporter: When you have to cut weight, do you feel that it takes away from your power, in any way shape or form?
Cotto: ":No. I ate very well for this fight (training camp) and my health and strength is too much for tomorrow's night's fight."

So Cotto said that he would be too strong for Manny Pacquiao and that he would not have accepted if he thought that he would not be at his best.
Canelo said in his interview that during his training camp, making weight was the biggest struggle!

Oh, and it was Floyd Mayweather and company that said multiple times leading up to the fight that Canelo had issues with stamina, was too green, and would struggle making weight …..

but in my last post(s), I showed proof of you CHEATING AGAIN. You knew that you had no chance in hell if there were honest judges, so you prayed that I would have accepted those that volunteered to be a judge. Reason is that they would be biased judges in that you would have the edge.

I got curious because that guy's name sounded familiar. When I did my search, you and him were defending each other in other threads. Some said you 2 were buddy buddy. Furthermore, I went back and noticed that the guy had a prejudice against me.

You knew all that, of course.

Another volunteer, of course, was a Mayweather fan. The third guy was too I think but I can't remember as its been so long ago.

Anyways, you had 1 guy in your back pocket and another one who was a big Floyd Mayweather fan. That's 2 out of 3 at the very least.

That is the only way you would have accepted this challenge. You kept on deflecting because you wanted no part of this challenge ….. DUCKY!!!!

And yes he was in trouble, he was cut early in the fight he was getting hit every where and he was struggling to keep Maidana off of him. That's what trouble is in boxing.

Never did I say he was losing the fight. He was clearly uncomfortable in the ring but he figured it out like he always does.

Problem is it's right there in front of you but you just cannot see it!

They had marketing Maidana as the KO artist.

It was Maidana that said that Floyd didn't want to fight Maidana with APPROVED gloves.

It was Maidana that said that Floyd wanted Maidana to fight with pillow gloves.

Floyd cried about the ref in Maidana 1

Floyd cried in Maidana 2 fight while throwing elbows. Maidana was the one who was deducted points.

You just don't get it. Maidana had to spill his guts yet he got no credit. The NEVADA judges were going to give it to Floyd and Floyd knew it. If Floyd would have had to do the kind of work that Maidana did, he too would have gassed out in the later rounds. Instead, Floyd did little yet got the lead from the Nevada judges. Then with Maidana being a bit gassed in the 2nd half, Floyd did just enough in some of those rounds for the judges to give him the gift!

Floyd took no risks in taking fights outside of his country.

Floyd took no risks by always wanting to fight in his home state, home town of VEGAS, NEVADA.

Floyd had refused to fight in LA for the Castillo 2 fight because he thought it would favor Castillo!

Floyd didn't wan t to take a risk and fight Manny in 2010 … waited until after Marquez KO … 5 years later.

Can you imagine fighting Manny in the Philippines? Anywhere other than VEGAS, NEVADA?

              What a risk taker!

                  .

LOL. I'll humor you. Let's go point by point.

They were building him up as a KO artist (Well when 31 of your 35 wins are by KO you're more than likely a KO artist). And Maidana is still the only man that ever dropped Broner.

Glove Gate - Well we know that the gloves that Maidana originally wanted to wear were not approved. I think the trust was gone so Floyd wanted them to wear the same type of glove. Even playing field. Was it a d!ck move? Yes. But when you're a the shot caller you call the shots. Still took the fight. Had issues in the fight and overcame the adversity and won going away. In the tenth round of the fight Maidana became the first ever person I had ever seen counter Floyd's pull counter and hit him with a bomb and Floyd ate it.

Floyd cried to the ref, Well when your opponent is pulling MMA moves in the ring and the ref allows it then you gotta speak up. Or you end up like Manny vs Agapito Sanchez,

The Nevada Judges. You mean the same Judges that scored the DelaHoya fight a split decision and Canelo fight a majority decision. They were protecting Floyd? lol.

A funny thing about boxing, when you land more punches, when you are more accurate, when you don't get dropped you tend to win those fights. Floyd said early in the fight that Maidana will tire. He let Maidana tire himself and out then ate him up late. It was strategy. If Maidana couldn't pace himself then that's his bad.

Floyd took no risks in fighting outside the USA. Well the Mecca of boxing is the USA. This is the highest level and Nevada is where the dollars are made. If you don't understand commerce I don't know what to tell you. Manny could have chosen to fight all his fights in the Phillpines. Why doesn't he? Is it because he likes taking risks or he likes making money? Do tell

Refusing to fight Castillo in California. Dude the mere fact that he had an immediate rematch against his toughest opponent tells you what's in his heart. The way he responds when hurt tells you about his heart.

He waited for Manny Pac to get knocked out. LOL. I love that one. Well Manny refused to take the test. Manny refused random testing up to 14 days prior to the fight. Floyd agreed to all of Manny's terms including the 10 million over the weight limit clause. See when you agree to all of the terms you are not the one turning the fight down. And Freddy Roach has admitted that their "side" was mostly to blame as to why the fight didn't happen in 2010.

And they did not fight after the Marquez knockout. They fought after Floyd struggled with Maidana. When Freddy Roach stated that Floyd no more had the legs he once had. So kill that.
