When Floyd was Pretty Boy oh yeah who is complaining about that? He made a lot of the fights on the spot and he built his rep off that.No sir. when you are the best and you're your own man they will try to tear you down. Remember Brian Kenny was getting at him for Not fighting Baldomir? Remember that? How many have been vanquished but they keep bring up a new name. He's 42 and retired and they want him to come back. In my opinion he fit the longer, taller, Zab Judah profile, and Judah gave Floyd fits until he gassed and unraveled, and that was a Judah who already lost to Baldimir.
So now tell me. Why is it Floyd was able to make the fights with the flat footed Latin guys so quick. You know like Maidana, Ortiz, Guerrero, & MarquezLast edited by djtmal; 09-26-2019, 12:57 PM.Comment

We know why he didn't fight Margs. He was in the process of leaving TR because Bob wouldn't get him a fight with ODH (a guy you claim he fought "at the right time"). He instead fought the lineal ww champ. If you want to criticize that as a cherrypick go right ahead. You wouldn't criticize any other boxer for doing this.
As for prime Manny, we know Manny refused to fight. Your position is that was ok because who was Floyd to ask him for PED testing. We also know prime Manny refused the fight on 2 other occasions-in 2013 when he got stitches suddenly and in 2014 when he turned down the $40 mil, no ppv offer
Each time he did you justified it because you hate Floyd. How can anyone reasonable blame another man for Manny refusing to fight him?
You can judge Floyd's resume however you wish. As long as we all see you are a proven liar with no integrity or credibility your criticisms about Floyd hold no weight.Comment

There are some posters who do this with every fighter Floyd didn't fight. Let them tell it, Khan, Margs, Clottey, Casamayor are all ATG 1st ballot HOF'ers that would easily have defeated Floyd. To this very day we get still people unironically claiming Amir Khan would have been a risky fight for Floyd. Yeah, ****ing Amir Khan. And they're dead serious about that ****. "His hand speed would be too much". Of course when Floyd dropped his ass the narratives would change, but that's just how it is. People are determined not to give credit where it's due.Comment

Well the man's thread topic is simple. Floyd took no risks. And you still trying to have it both ways spinning it.
By your own admission Margarito was in essence high risk low reward, Baldimir was low risk, low reward, and Oscar was, I give the benefit of the doubt and say medium risk, high reward. Floyd had time for Oscar and Baldimir but couldn't seem to find time for Margarito.Comment
