Why do you think GGG said all the things he said?

      1) GGG knew Canelo lost the first fight but had to take the draw because Canelo had Las Vegas and the judges in his pocket (that Adelaide Byrd 118-110 score to Canelo was ridiculous).

      2) Canelo cheated and took clenbuterol for their second fight but got found out. Whos to say he didn't take it for the first fight?

      3) GGG had to pay expenses for a whole training camp including trainer fees, nutrition, accomodation etc as well as time away from his family only for the ginger cheater to get found out for taking PEDS causing the whole fight to be canceled. This is money and time which GGG can never get back.

I respectfully disagree...I think those fights were/will be a huge career defining moment for him...just my opinion though

He needs to learn to have his own legacy, instead of trying to live off Canelo fight handouts. Make a Charlo or Andrade fight or else just sit on the bench and watch when Canelo takes those guys on first! Thats the Golovkin way.

So he dint KO Canelo he still won!!!!! Hello!!! If canelo wants to hideout and wait till GGG is 39 yo before fighting him again, then go back that. That some real puss ****e. Canelo doesn't have to fight him again he can puss out. Just should stop talking P4P when he's afraid of a 37 yo that beat him twice and now so scared giving up prime time dates not even fighting. Sure that's a champion and a P4P champ for sure (chuckle)

You can debate the decisions all you want- and those are fun debates- but popular opinion only matters on American Idol. The record book has Golovkin winless. And say all you want about Alvarez, but he fought Golovkin already. Claiming he is scared now to fight Trip G is silly and hollow.

I was as big of a fan of Golovkin as there was. His crap, spoiled brat behavior after the loss soured me a ton. I am not an Alvarez fan. I do think he used fun drugs to get a competitive edge, and I am su****ious of how he gets every close round in every close fight. But facts are facts. Golovkin cashed those checks and agreed to the fights. He could not win one in the official scores of the judges he and his team approved of. Alvarez can never fight Golovkin again and will have zero worries about legacy. It is Golovkin that has that concern. So I stand behind what I said: Alvarez is 100% right when he says he does not need to fight Trip G again.

Golovkin is a small middlweight hence his inability to go up in weights to take on those at 168 and 175 (even the Rolls fight was a only 164 catchweight)

Canelo walks around at 180 plus lbs due to his years of cycling PEDS. He is extremely muscular and his body shape in not in proportion (compare his legs to his upper body). The point Im making is this is the reason he is able to "go up in weights" and "dares to be great". He is merely fighting those in his normal weight range. But you wont see him fight Caleb Plant or Beterbiev will you... of course not.
