Not a bad point...however usually the other guy becomes more comfortable as well, as there are no feel out rounds needed anymore...you already know what the other guy has...held true in this fight as well as fight 2 had significantly more action than fight 1...and I would imagine that Canelo has never had over 200 punches landed on him besides Floyd and GGG...and GGG did it twice and punches significantly harder than Floyd.
Man no disrespect but you seem rather unwilling to cede fairly minor points...it is clear that rematching a tough fight after you have the official W is a 'risky' move...you already have the win, and a 2nd win could help solidify your status..likewise though, a loss could take away the shine that the first win gave you and negate the praise and status you achieved in the first place.
I respectfully disagree with your other assertions as well...I think Canelo has largely picked most of his opponents, and fought them on his terms/weight, and many were past their best...even then he struggled to convincingly separate from them in the match, even if he did win some close decisions imo...in GGG's case, I think he faced about 15 guys of good/similar quality to Canelo's group (GGG probably has a few more tough fights on his list imo as he has a few years on Canelo), and KOed and ran through them all...when any other fighter, even ATGs, have runs like that, they usually lose one or two etc.
Canelo is a really good fighter and imo he showed that by competing well vs GGG in both fights...I felt he was pretty clearly the loser in both fights but I was impressed with him and he had his moments...I think he has showed his quality before and since that as well...but imo GGG has been more impressive before those fights as far as career goes.
It will be interesting to see what their careers/futures hold! Hope they mix it up once or twice more.
