Is Golovkin taking harder fights then Canelo?

For the average illiterate casual fan Canelo beat the better opposition, lets be honest, everyone Canelo beat, GGG would have trashed even easier.
Here is one undeniable fact:
Canelo himself wants to be retired before turning 35, because, that are his own words, "At 35 fighters deteriorate so much, that they arent the same anymore." Canelo specifially only fights opponents after they turned 35 or even older, (Baldomir, Mosley, Cotto, GGG and now Kovalev) and the rest are cherrypicked bums, or the very very few exceptions he gets a gift decision against, as was the case vs Lara.
So unquestionable, if you're not an illiterate GGG beat the better opposition, and he should have a clear win over Canelo, even while he himself was past prime and the second fight was at best a draw, so GGG should be undefeated and Canelo has losses against GGG, Lara and Floyd.
Prime GGG trashes every version of Canelo, thats also a fact. No match.
you have now officially made just as big a fool of yourself over GayLoveKin... as you did over Pacquiao

Another troll alert!!!!He is fighting better competition.
He’s fighting SD, he fought Canelo twice, he tried to fight Canelo a third time and Canelo refused, he fought Danny Jacobs.
That’s Canelo’s second hardest opponent, a guy Canelo ducked and a universally recognized top 5 p4p fighter.Comment

Why yall keep bringing up GGG we know he aint moving up...and we know he aint taking no risks till he fights Canelo.

Canelo has better resume than Golovkin but the reason he can't and won't get the full credit is that his every big win has an asterisks next to it.
Canelo reminds me of Andre Ward in that regard. If you look at their resumes from a casual point of view you're like 'holy ****, this dude is baaad'. But then when you look closer and see all those questionable decisions, low blows, special treatment, peds, fighting great fighters when they're old etc you're like 'Oh.'
Judging careers of fighters like them is weird when you're a boxing fan because your heart tells you they have everything a great fighter should have, primarily the skills and the resumes that set them apart. But your head tells you nah, you know that's not the whole story.Comment

I cant believe you are actually trying to argue that Steve Rolls is proof that GGG is fighting better opposition than Canelo. When you think about it, He fought Vanes on short notice and Vanes had never been stopped and Golovkin ran right over him. Then people love to trash the Rolls fight but he was undefeated and a damn good boxer and Golovkin just steam rolled the guy.
Now he is fighting a guy who in my opinion beat Jacobs and looked better against Jacobs then Canelo did. Canelo literally dropped his belt and ran out of the division from this guy yet Golovkin comes in and instantly accepts the fight.
Canelo's 2019 resume is Jacobs and Kovalev.
GGG's 2019 resume is Rolls and Derevyanchenko.
You are one of the dumbest posters on boxingscene and that is a hard accomplishment to make. Congratulations.Comment

Instead of concentrating that they are not fighting against each other and who is the better opponent lets be happy that they are actually fighting credible opponents.
On paper it looks like both fighters are matched tough.Comment

I'm neither a fan of both. Meaning, when I see them fight individually, I'm not sure who to root for -- them or their opponent. But as the fight progresses, I'll begin to root for the guy who makes the fight; root against the one who clinches, runs, in other words, the guy who disrupts the flow of the fight. I'm not a fanboy, like most of you people are, is all I'm saying.
Right now I'm angry that Golovkin is not even mentioning Charlo. That's a huge, mouth-watering fight that many casuals would be interested in seeing. It's sad that not one side made any effort to make the fight.Comment
