GGG already beat up Kovalev in sparring years ago, when Kovalev was still in his prime.

Canelo ducking 50/50 matchups to face a vulnerable opponent who got knocked out a couple times, almost got stopped by a novice.

Illiterates like you dont even realize how you expose and embarrass yourself every time you post here.

Yeah they are. Kovalev said he didn't feel OK with sparring Golovkin when they were both with Sanchez. The reason being that he would have to use his full power on Gennady to keep him off. He said he didn't feel right about unloading on his friend. Never say never but I doubt that they would ever fight each other for that reason and because they aren't in the same weight class. The situation with Canelo is different. He has to fight someone like Kovalev to satisfy DAZN since he refused to rematch Golovkin.

You might have a point in GG avoiding Charlo and Andrade, but why do you prefer losing credibility when you claim he ducked Ward, and Lara, of all people?

You gotta be an idiot to believe those nonsense.

no you dont have to be an idiot to believe it

there was a time lara called for a fight with him....and lara was the #1 guy at 154....and they never even considered it...in fact loeffler(it might have been abel i cant remember exactly) was asked about it and they said he didnt bring anything to the table as far as money and fans

              Tom Loeffler ***8207;@TomLoeffler1 2m
MarkEOrtega he is not approved by HBO and never on our radar, he should be calling out Quillin, if he wins, he becomes interesting

lara also went as far as to prove that he wasnt "signed" to showtime and could go wherever....at the time lara would have been THE BEST name on golovkins resume....they never considered him

ward...well we all know about golovkins duck of ward....its been documented and beaten to death.....you want to say he was awaiting the canelo/cotto winner? ok...but he still didnt get that fight in 2016 and instead waited a whole nother year and fought dom wade and a WW(he made fun of canelo for khan and then turned around and did it for a money grab).....its fine if he wanted to wait for canelo.....he was chasing money....just dont ever be fooled by his "i want to unify it means so much" or think he ever cared about proving his greatness....fighting ward would have proved his greatness and his desire to make the best fights......he still leaves a ton to be desired in that aspect

Canelo had lots of challenges at 160 and had no cleaned 160 out by a long shot. Nobody was crying for him to fight Kovalev. That was all his idea and he ruled out the 3 young unbeaten champions. So now that Canelo has picked an old champ who looked like garbage last fight and lost 3 of his last 7 fights GGG is supposed to be a big chicken because he didn't fight a light heavyweight first? Nothing wrong with GGG staying at his proper weight and fighting the guy Canelo gave up his belt not to fight. Canelo could have fought Andrade or Jermall but he didn't, He would have been favored to beat both of them but not be a 4 or 5 to 1 favorite like he is to beat old Kovalev. GGG is not chasing the Canelo fight but he would gladly fight him while Canelo refuses to fight GGG even if GGG becomes the IBF world middleweight champ.
you are absolutely right, he doesnt have to... and he simply wont do it...

youve got to love it...they love the "convenient" response of "why should he" when it comes to a guy they like...if its a guy they dont like all of the sudden the standard becomes different.....

we all remember how long and how old hopkins was when he left 160.....if you take away the rest of hopkins career hes not "legendary"....if hopkins retired after taylor his resume and career would be picked to shreds....the reason it isnt and the reason hes legendary is because of what he did after 160....plain and simple

stop trying to use bhop as some barometer for golovkin.....golovkin will never attempt what hopkins did...NEVER

as skilled as ggg is, he just doesnt have it on him to push for more, to me he could have achieved a lot , but since he didnt have to, oh well....
