Yes, and Weeks is the same ref who waved the fight off instantly when Kovalev complained about getting hit low by Ward.

          A. God has nothing to do with anything.
          B. Magomed's family may have a differing opinion...

If the ref has the fighter see the doc, then he did his job! Fury is fortunate to not have lost either fight!

He's right but it may have ended up costing Tyson Fury his career in the long run. That scar tissue over his right eye is permanently damaged and is very tender.

The next solid hit he sustains on that eye just may cause a very huge gash to come over it to the point of him getting stopped. It's my conviction, that this fight has permanently ruined him.

Had he fought a fighter with more skill, ability and experience, then chances are he would have been knocked out. However, fortunately for Tyson he was in there with an overmatched and limited fighter.

It's good the doctor advised that the fight could continue; because Fury could continue fighting well, even if he had mainly sight out of one eye. It's boxing, not tennis.

Fury calmly coped with a vicious gash and had to change his game plan and adapt .He did this and won a lopsided decision against a fighter who looked better than we gave him credit for. Had this have happened to Joshua I doubt he would have copped so well. The Hearns need to keep their attention with Joshua who has a real do or die battle with what they considered to be a easy touch.
