Tank Davis Blast Andre Ward For Absolutely No Reason

I love Ward..as a man and as a boxer..but he's so obviously a company man for ESPN. With Floyd basically walking from HBO because of that partially; it wouldn't surprise me if it was in commentators contracts that they couldn't be too critical of in house fighters.

Starting at 3:26 he said "I Know They Not Going To Like This..."




So Davis is likely responding to that and the clip people probably sent to him and showed him they won't play him the FULL Clip where Ward also said positive things about him, they will only send him the negative stuff. With that being said, Ward job is to break things down honestly and I think he does a great job at that, I guess too well since he is pissing some fighters off.

From Davis standpoint, I get it, your trying to build up your profile and trying to build yourself up as a PPV Star and to have a guy on ESPN questioning you could be bad for business but at the same time he can just step his level of competition and all that would shut Ward up. That being said, Davis is only 24!

Where Ward looks bad...VERY BAD actually is that you will question Davis and Spence Jr Resumes but yet you have Crawford #1 P4P.

Crawford, for all that he's lacked at WW, has a better resume than both Davis and Spence put together. Crawford unified and was the ring champ at 135 and cleaned out 140 to become undisputed. . Thats why he is ranked so high.

I respect Ward to the fullest but this looks hypocritically when Crawford while talent wise no question he is a Top 2-3 P4P Talent, his Resume is not that great and it is getting worse when Prograis blasted out Indongo better than he did and Jeff Horn just lost to Half Boxer/Half Stripper

Boxers allow fans to instigate things, I doubt Ward Comment was about just Tank Davis, sounds like more of a comment in General

I definitely agree on your last statement! Boxers in general relaize the truth hurts! Had he not responded, this wouldve been nothing more than sports talk. When you respond like Davis did, the world will definitely scrutinize!
