I am chalking this up as a loss, that's how it feels, Fury was beaten up, his mystical title does not change the fact that his stock plummeted last night.
That may not have been Shwartz, but Fury clearly was not in his zone and was his own worst enemy by getting to caught up in his own theatrics by making the event a circus instead of focusing on his opponent. If he is going to call what he does in the fight buildup and his over the top ring walk "entertainment", then fight a named fighter at least. It's only entertaining if he fights a fighter with a name and there is at least some intrigue.
I’m no Ben fan. Never learned under a master. To be fair he also trained Fury for the Wilder fight and everyone loved fury he won 9/3. I think he overtrained but does need a elite trainer
Freddy wanted more offense more making guys pay when they miss imagine if Wilder payed with a counter even after 20% of his thousand misses in that fight
No you are absolutely right. I was referring to prior to those cuts. However, once he sustained those cuts then all bets were off. Then his primal instincts began to kick in as he reverted back to the old Fury of mauling and roughhousing his smaller opponents with his superior size and weight on the inside.
yeah he was definitely trying to maul Otto for sure. Fury has to avoid that if wants to beat wilder . If he comes in like that against wilder I think wilder will KO him . I actually think wilder will win anyway and I am not sure how well that cut will heal. It may be a delicate spot goin forward for the rest of fury’s career. You know how some guys get a bad cut then the next thing you know they are always getting cut in that same spot .

Yes, that is very true. Sometimes, many fighters have bad scar tissue and become very prone to cuts. I just hope that is not the case with Tyson Fury. It's also a subtle, tell-tale sign that Tyson Fury is slowly aging as a fighter. Early on he lacked the same energy and drive or legs he had in his last two previous fights.
Dry skin is typically more susceptible to cuts in boxing. Had he fought any of the top five heavyweights in the world he would have been in a lot of serious trouble. In any case, you are right the Fury that was in their with Wallin last night would have lost to Deontay Wilder.
Fury won every round in my book, i didnt see otto the otter winning a sin gle round, scores were too close, but otto showed he can take alot of punishedment, without getting buzzed....fury will still outbox any one inc ruiz, ruiz is a cherry pick waiting to happen....

fury was classy in his victory speech telling Wallin his dad would be proud of him. Let’s hope the eye heals well and we get an exciting rematch between wilder / fury .
