A lot of dumb people think the cut will be a problem in later fights for Fury.
I remember they said the same thing about Vitali Klitschko when he suffered horrific cuts against Lennox Lewis (worse than Fury's cuts), Klitschko went on to fight another 9 years after the Lewis fight and never once had the scar tissue open up.

Wallin proved he's definitely one tough bird. He took some bombs, yet still kept at it. I think it's safe to say we'll see more of him soon enough. I think he'd give nearly all of the top HWs a rough time.... Whyte, Joyce, Parker, Kownacki etc. And this should put him in a top 15 list or two, if not better.

As for Fury, we're seeing some who are writing him off after this performance. IMO it's a bit early for that. Two horrid cuts will usually hinder a fighter's performance, yet he did exhibit some solid boxing skills throughout, as always. Definitely looking forward to the Wilder/Ortiz rematch, so we can figure out where the Fury rematch stands on the calendar.

Fury miraculously got up like the Undertaker and never had the same Chin again. My God he almost got stopped by low ranked pug. The chin is now suspect.

You say this like there's been this long stretch in the wake of Wilder of Fury getting wobbled and battered by wimpy pedestrian shots, as opposed to, ya know, putting away Tom Schwarz inside 2 and then slipping into a dog fight with a game but unremarkable guy primarily on account of an injury that forced an impromptu change in tactics. His issues last night had **** all to do with chin.

Lol fury was fighting a bum. No one even knows who Wallin is. You can see why Fury was pricing himself out of the Joshua fight now. Fury's 2nd best win is still Derek Chisora...

To be fair before the fight I saw some footage of Wallin and he has a good straight left hand very textbook never understood why Tyson fought a lefty in preparation for Wilder but now he is going to be healing that cut for a good while. Did anyone else notice that Fury's trunks were all the way up to his chest that is ridiculous and should not be allowed. With that being said he showed heart but he talks about knocking out Wilder in 4 rounds gtfo the only ones who believe that are Robbie Barrett and the dumbass who said Ben Davidson was a great trainer.

Yeah, that stuff happened, haha. I wasn't trying to argue the case of "Actually Fury has an iron chin" so much as saying there's no real evidence that Wilder further diminished or took something from him in that respect.

Saw this and checked out another infamous cut fight. After a pretty similar cut, albeit 16ish yrs ago now, Vitali Klitscho didn't fight again for 6 months after being cut by Lewis. A possible template for how things may happen.
