How hard is it to accept when your favorite ducks another fighter?

I am going to say Floyd Mayweather is a trembling coward. He is afraid of a strong machine like Margarito. He's petrified of men like Cotto and Hatton. In fact, Mayweather doesn't know what to do with himself. Eventually, he is going to fight those men- eventually I promise you'll see him in the ring with Margarito. How will it feel to know he ducked and dodged a man just to whoop his ass, if he does? Will you say, "Aww...Floyd didn't believe in himself...but I do!"


P.S. How does it feel to need to pick on all the Floyd fans by asserting how afraid he is of Margarito? Let them enjoy their guy, you enjoy yours. Why are you SO wrapped up in the 'Mayweather ducked Margarito' Novel that is published daily on these boards?

Though I will recognize him as the best fighter in the sport until he loses, I will lose mad respect for Mayweather if he fights Baldomir or Spinks next. I will lose virtually all respect for the man if he fights for less than 8 million, no matter who the opponent is.

im just a boxing fan who wants to see great fights..thats the best "welter weight" fight that can be made. period

Enjoy every boxer for what he has to offer. Mayweather has the skills to make his fight enjoyable to watch. If you hold up every man to the image of the greats like Leonard, et al. you're going to be disappointed almost always. Margarito isn't a man like them...his resume is soft. Those men you just mentioned wouldn't have been satisfied fighting a man like Gomez at this stage of their careers...so knock Margarito for taking soft fights, too. Not EVERYONE is scared of him.

Im always carfeul of flat out saying one fighter ducked another-thats not to say that I dont do it but there is alot that goes into these negotiations that we just cant see from the surface.

I cant say of a specific fighter Joe Calzaghe has ducked but as a monster fan of his it has been enormously frustrating to watch year after year with mostly talk spewing from Team Calzaghe.

Im grateful for a guy like Jeff Lacy who crossed the pond and finally delivered Joe a Super fight because without that type of initiative I dont know if Joe would have ever gotten his big fight and that would have probably been Joe's fault.

This is not too say that some high profile names in the recent past have not simply looked past Joe because their was just far too much risk...as difficult as Joe has been outside the ring I think it is safe too say that no one was raising there hand saying I want Joe Calzaghe...that is except for Jeff Lacy.

Summing things up Mr. Calzaghe has been tough too watch outside of the ring for whatever reason!

Is it me or in every thread i go, there's always the same ****ing guys who say the same ****ing thing over and over and over. Mayweather ducks Margariton bla bla bla 8 millions bla bla bla no respect bla bla bla gayweather bla bla bla duck duck duck
