How come Kovalev wasn’t “Old” for Eleider or Ward?

    He was old but he hadn't aged. Those two bouts with Andre Ward had really broken him spiritually and ruined him. He was never the same fighter after those two fights with Ward. He was subsequently stopped by Eleider Alvarez and nearly stopped by Anthony Yarde in his last fight. He no longer believes himself anymore.

      Yarde is not the best boxer on the planet but he is heavy handed. Yarde could've hurt a prime Kovalev.
