LMFAO!!! Did you get dropped on your head a couple dozen times as a baby???

That's the same logic you and others use when they criticize Golovkin. So now the shoe is on the other foot and you are squirming. If anyone has been dumped on their head it's you and a couple of other nut jobs on this forum. The facts are as I said. Canelo has ducked Andrade and Charlo for quite some time. Andrade called out Canelo for a unification fight. The reason Canelo gave for that particular duck by him. was it would be too soon for Andrade to fight him after Andrade easily defeated Sulecki. Ironic isn't it in light of the recent developments regarding Kovalev Andrade prior to that was also ducked by Canelo after he beat Smith.
Charlo was his mandatory but again the fight never happened. Canelo is now given the right to duck anyone in the Middleweight division because as franchise champion those pesky and dangerous challengers can be ducked and it's not his fault.
Canelo avoided both men when they were all in the JM division together.

No one even knew who they were when Canelo was a JM. They really still don't. Why aren't they fighting each other then?? Difference is Canelo is "ducking" fighting BETTER fighters while ggg was "ducking" to fight Vanes and Rolls.

Get your facts straight.

stop whining about a rehydration clause, because...

FACT: Kovalev is still a better opponent for Canelo than anyone Golovkin ever fought

I watched both fights, smith jr didn’t have any moments,

And Johnson is probably the hardest hitter at LHW other than Beterbiev. He got up and won the fight.

I think Alvarez and Yarde were harder hitting than Johnson. hehe.

Beterbiev and Gvozdyk are simply not spectacular... only reason why folks are getting on their band wagon is that Kovalev was cheated out and then low blowed against Ward... Then yes, he got careless with Alvarez 1.

Kovalev can still beat Beterbiev and Gvozdyk... in fact, likely so can Alvarez.

Kovalev is still #1 in LHW today... chased down by Bivol who will be #1 as he keeps building confidence and experience.

So Canelo is picking the toughest guy at LHW... BUT who likely has the best style for himself and a weakness he thinks he can exploit.

Beyond that, Kovalev is the biggest name in LHW today anyway...

Canelo vs Kovalev is far bigger than Canelo vs Gvozdyk/Beterbiev.... although Canelo vs Bivol will be a GREAT fight in the future.

Beterbiev fights and trains up here, I’ve seen him a lot. He’s the real deal. Not to mention an amateur record of 295-5 (ring magazine) and amateur wins over Michael Hunter and Sergei Kovalev (twice) among others.
