The thing is... his Pro record and resume... is simply not that impressive.

14-0 with 14 KO’s and he’s IBF champion. Agree to disagree.

      • Two time drug cheat CowMeatNelo won't get anywhere near the prime 175lb champions at full weight. "WEIGHTING" to hear how bad he is gonna drain Kovalev or refuse to let the guy rehydrate. We all know he doesn't fight fair fights.

Yeah I don’t put much stock on 3 rounders with headgear on. Look at Loma? A cap driver beat him.

I don’t think Bivol beats Kov unless it’s a fight down the road. But now? Nope!

And Johnson is probably the hardest hitter at LHW other than Beterbiev. He got up and won the fight.
I thought he did good rounds 1, 4, and 11???

            • The fact this isn't signed yet should be a cause for concern if they plan to keep the Nov 2 date.

All I know is Canelo let Borat pick judges for the fight, pick Canelos gloves for the fight, and pick the ref for the fight. Canelo didnt care and allowed Borat to Diva.

After Canelo busted Borat up...Borat fled the ring, his trainer said he lost, and GGG had to find a new trainer to relearn "Mexican Style"

Ca$hnelo beat the Mexican out of Borat

                  • Big fight that maybe half the people who saw the 2nd GGG fight will watch.

Lisen, I'm a Boxing fan 1st but UFC 244 is gonna put a major dent in this event. And from what I read about why they're stuck on the Nov 2nd date...

In the immediate aftermath, Kovalev’s side indicated that Nov. 2 wasn’t the ideal date, per sources, with the bout just over two months away. The date held importance for DAZN, though. The platform bills on a monthly cycle at $19.99 (unless one chooses the annual option), and DAZN can now entice fans to pay for two months with the heavyweight championship fight between Andy Ruiz Jr. and Anthony Joshua more than 30 days later, on Dec. 7.

And who out of those 14 guys was actually any good?
Besides Callum Johnson who put Beterbiev to the floor but failed to take him out of the fight.

The guys that Kovalev fought would all wipe the floor with the 14 guys Beterbiev boxed. Even Yarde.
