Charlo wants to fight GGG. This was the whole point of moving up to become his mandatory. There is no rationale for Charlo moving up, unless you think he wanted to duck Golovkin from up close.

Him protecting his mandatory spot makes perfect sense. Any manager who would ask him to risk a guaranteed shot at the belt should be fired.

Golovkin's team on the other hand has been openly vocal about not wanting to fight him. I've actually never seen a coach come out and protest a mandatory spot given to a champion the way Abel Sanchez did. And still you people refuse to believe that Golovkin could actually want to avoid Charlo, all of this because of your deep seated biases and image of Golovkin you've made up. Sanchez clearly saw something in Charlo he didn't like, or else he would've never came out the way he did.

Charlo called out Jacobs and Jacobs answered and accepted challenge.

Charlo has literally never said Jacobs name in public again.

Charlo is a hypejob as is Borat

Ggg and canelo are the top 2 in the division...a fight between them should be preferred over any others. Canelo didn’t want it, which led to the discussion of who their next opponents are/should be...not sure why people wanna skip that and go straight to criticizing ggg for who he’s fighting as a result of canelo avoiding him. Canelo better fight kovalev after all this bs.

But for some, GGG should have fought the guy ranked 3rd or 5th instead...they say GGG is 'ducking' these guys...they say that Charlo, for example, really wants the GGG fight, and that GGG not fighting him, and choosing to fight Dervy, constitutes a duck and they want to slight GGG for that.

Charlo goes on to fight Brandon Adams and Dennis Hogan...Dennis Hogan being a career 154 pound fighter and Brandon Adams the same guy they were ready to kill GGG for when GGG was rumored to fight him.

So to break it down - when GGG wants to fight the top guy, and the top guy doesn't want it...and GGG decides to fight the number 4 guy instead...somehow the top guy doesn't get any real blame, in part because he is rumored to be facing a quality opponent, yet GGG is still given criticism here.

When Charlo 'wants' (for the record I don't really think Charlo or GGG 'wants' that fight...low reward and fairly high risk to both - especially considering other options) to fight the top guy (in GGG), and the fight doesn't happen, and Charlo decides to fight a literal 'who'...no one gives Charlo any real criticism for that.

So when you want to fight a top guy and the fight doesn't happen...and you instead fight the number 4 guy...then you receive criticism.

But when you 'want' to fight a top guy and the fight doesn't happen...and you instead fight maybe the number 10 guy from the previous weight class...somehow you are good?

Andrade has more of a case imo after fighting Sulecki...but no one should really give him a pass either if he doesn't fight someone good in his next fight...and again...why don't Charlo and Andrade fight each other?? Lol....seems like it would solve the case of them both needing a good opponent.

The truth of course is that Charlo Andrade and GGG would all fight each other...and would all be competitive fights in some ways if they fought...those fights are rather high risk and low reward for all participants...they all want the Canelo payday but Canelo as the cash king has other options always, and is looking in other directions.

To act like any of those guys/their teams really want to mix it up right now is silly imo...and maybe some in reading this thread will realize they are not really keeping it real with their critiques...we can all root for who we want and have our own opinions.

But when some have vastly different takes on very similar situations, it is just not a good look...and we shouldn't really present our opinions on here as if they were factual...just doesn't lead to productive discussions.

FACT: Golovkin picked the weakest possible opponent

refused to fight Charlo and Andrade... saying that those fights made... "no sense at all"

but suddenly decides to embark on his "2nd title run"... when the inferior "available" Derevyanchenko is suddenly an option

Golovkin is simply taking the easiest possible fight... as always

wants a big drama show... but does not want any actual drama

              he fkn did not

he defended a junior title... against hand-picked, lower-level, made-to-order, opponents... while avoiding more difficult opponents

that is NOT the same thing

and they did the same thing to Andrade, avoided him like he had the plague... despite him holding the WBO title, "Andrade made... no sense at all"

                wtf ?

on the other thread, Hearn is bragging about how Golovkin has sooooo many options... like, Andrade, Smith, Saunders, Jacobs... lmao

DAZN and Hearn played themselves... G is not gonna take those fights

G will win the IBF... and then defend it against scrubs, while waiting for Canelo

he will never unify, and he will never move to 168

                  as usual...

... his shltty fanbase blindly insist that Grovelkin is not begging for another handout from Canelo...

... all while CONTINUALLY blaming Canelo for Golovkin's shltty opponent selection ahahah

kid... Canelo did not say that Golovkin fighting Charlo and Andrade made "no sense at all"... Bullshltkin did

stop blaming Canelo whenever Bullshltkin lies to his idiot fanbase

Name-calling makes you sound biased emotional and child-like my friend...just trying to help ya out...and if GGG is all hype, how can you love Canelo? He was pretty clearly inferior in both fights vs G.

I think trying to say there was a clear 'ducker' between Jacobs and Charlo...I mean that fight was never even really discussed in all seriousness...saying a call out or an 'accepted challenge' constitutes ducking/not ducking...I mean that is kind of fan-boy stuff imo man...with an outlook like that, one could try and spin any tale they want to suit their favorite fighter or against their least favorites.

Honestly from my perspective you seem like a big Nelo fan...and you want to try and disparage someone like Charlo who would at worst have a puncher's chance against Nelo (or GGG, or anyone)...so you try and spin a narrative that he is a 'ducker' and 'hype' so Nelo can avoid the tough fight...spin away my friend
