Let’s just see it. Would much rather see this than Pac and Floyd II.

We can’t downgrade Keith on the backend. Many believed one-time would beat Pacquiao. Some even thought Keith was better than Spence at Welterweight. This is a great fight.

If Pac wins he is a higher up on the list of all time greats. It may put him neck and neck with Floyd.

Losing to Spence at 40 doesn’t hurt legacy at all. Pac wins no matter what.

Assuming Spence beats Porter, why wouldn’t he take this massive payday and chance to further historical greatness?

The fight PAC vs Spence or PAC vs Crawford will not push through
Their promoters wont let PAC destroy their future cashcow
They believe PAC can beat them both period

I like Spence but people need to stop acting like dude is a God or something.

When I look at Spence I don't see someone who has anywhere near the boxing skills of Floyd Jr, and when he starts fighting guy's more his size like say, Lara at 154 I see him having trouble. Possibly getting exposed.

IMO it won't be long before Spence starts having trouble making 147, he's turning 30 in 5 months.

People that never fought before kill me with

telling a fighter what weight they should be at; but as long as you are able to make the weight comfortable and it works for you then so be it! Point Blank; not he should be a middleweight etc.

                K.Thurman > Spence
He will stay and grow old in 147, his advantage is off the roof

Crawford on the other hand I feel sometimes he waits too much and thinks too much. Sometimes I feel he tries to be too technical when he should just go for it. PAC could feint him to death while taking those long breaks he seems to need nowadays. However he Crawford decided to go for it, he would beat up and stop Pac.

Prime Pac is a different story though, I honestly have no idea how those fights would go against 2009-2010 fight, I give the slight edge to Pac.
Prime Pac will always have a problem with a fighter like Crawford. Patient counter punchers with an IQ is kryptonite for Pac. Thurman outbox Pac mid rds by being patient and countering.

An older Pac gets outboxed and stopped by Crawford, save he doesn't get drawn into a fire fight.

Manny is a cash cow. His name brings money in ways these other fighters only wish at 147. Pac will get the fights he wants. It boils down to a simple thought of where does Manny want his legacy, or if he is worried at all about it. If he is targeting Spence or (less likely these days due to promotional crap) Crawford, Manny feels he can elevate his "all time great" status even higher than it is already when he finally hangs them up. This is something that was discussed on these forums following his win over Thurman. That win showed he was still relevant and still effective at 10 years older than some of the top 147 fighters.

But if we accept Spence is perceived as the best at 147 now (you do not have to agree to accept that most boxing writers and rankings have him at the top), if Manny pursues this fight he is looking to cement his legacy. If he chooses lighter touches or more weathered names, that is a luxury he has earned and in my humble unimportant opinion should not be criticized for. He would not be "ducking" anyone. He has gone through wars that Spence, Crawford, or precious few others have even dreamed of and he has earned the right to spend whatever time he has left in boxing doing whatever the bloody cheeseballs he wants. If he chases one last legacy fight with Spence, put him on the Boxing Mount Rushmore if he wins. If he wants to make money off his name, more stinking power to him and God bless sports capitalism.

same old story everytime a fighter was compared to PAC
but at the end of the fight PAC wins and his haters cry like a beitchh
