Industry wants Loma vs Davis. Davis’ technique and power is dangerous for anyone, and the young buck is fast. Dangerous fight unlike any for Loma has faced, assuming Davis’ power is for real. Then we’ve got another once upon a time TMT prodigy gym rat in Haney, that if we go by the Campbell bout, Haney is another serious threat for Loma. The X factor in these two is the POWER vs anybody else on Loma’s resume. That’s how objective we can be, and it doesn’t matter if Kova was KO’d before like Wlad with Purrity or Sanders early in his career, post Wlad was still dangerous regardless if he was post notorious for clinching. He did drop AJ, Povetkin.

In fact Povetkin at 40 dealt and put a young Hughie in his place. Let’s just say a One Legged Benavidez, or a toothpick Indongo are nowhere near the danger of a Kovalev, P4P.

It's all a matter of opinion.

Canelo's been a pro for 14 years. Loma's been a pro for 6 years. Canelo didn't do much in the ams and Loma won 2 gold medals and lots of other titles along with going 396-1. Canelo's got decisions before that were controversial while Loma has won decisively in his decision victories. Rigo moved up two weight classes to fight Loma but Khan moved up two weight classes to fight Canelo. They're comparable in a lot of ways. I think Canelo has more star power on his resume but that's it. Cotto and Mosley were past it and smaller men when he fought them. Mayweather wasn't prime either but I though Canelo was a bit green. Loma also doesn't have the PED **** hanging over his head. Gotta go with Loma at this point, but of course, everyone has a different opinion.
