I don't like his bad feet and keeping his face right *there*. Very handy power but overall a bit stiff and probably needs to switch trainers if that's where he's currently at.

They asked Ward to describe the British fighter style, and he said you really can't just pinpoint one style as fighters are different, but overall he said they are very upright and fundamentally sound with little flavor. I don't know if you have seen the video, but it was a nice breakdown and describes Buatsi in a way.

      Edit:

      Here is the video:

Oh well, I'm glad real British boxing fans like you give respect to the opponent even when he's not a very good fighter and looks like an MMA goon.

I'd never even heard of Ford til other day when I checked the undercard but it's so rare we get to cheer on a real Canadian. Usually it's someone from Haiti or Russia by way of Montreal.
Yeah, i think i have seen him fight MMA in the not too distant past. Yep, i know we get it everywhere, its just the Sky commentary are really so bias, it turns me off. Sometimes the journeyman deserves more respect, they come in short notice and have jobs to hold down. Its a hard game aint it.

Not sold on Buatsi. The bronze medal is likely going to be his highest accomplishment in this game.

Forget about the current champs, he will not even survive Yarde.

Buatsi vs Sullivan Barerra should be next.

Buatsi beats Yarde for me, If just because he possesses a jab.

They always put on ESPN/Showtime stuff but never the full cards and they jsut throw it on any random channel. Last week Yarde/Kov was on TSN 3 or 4. Today Loma/Campbell fight is on TSN 1.

Yeah I didn't mean throw him to those wolves immediately but even working up to them I think they are just superior fighters, and as Buatsi improves they will also get better at their level.
Bivol has the most time to improve. Kov will probably be completely faded or retired by the time Buatsi gets to world-level.

Truth about Kov. And Bivol has the most time to improve but Betterbiev needs the most improvement of the 3 'younger' champs IMO. Bit of a wild ****er lacking defense but still has that devastating power.
