In response to it being confirmed he was stopped by a low blow, Nelson prattles on about a left hook that barely wobbled Ford earlier and Bellew tries to pretend he was going down to good body work. Yeah it's depressing. And no I don't think so but I have to dig through the schedule of ****ty hockey and sportscentre on the 5 total TSN channels to even see what channel they will broadcast a boxing event on. They always put on ESPN/Showtime stuff but never the full cards and they jsut throw it on any random channel. Last week Yarde/Kov was on TSN 3 or 4. Today Loma/Campbell fight is on TSN 1.



Yeah I didn't mean throw him to those wolves immediately but even working up to them I think they are just superior fighters, and as Buatsi improves they will also get better at their level.

It’s gone so downhill...when I was a kid TSN had the broadcast rights to HBO fights. They would air PPV’s for free on TSN.

Yeah I get that, I just think with a few more solid opponents Buatsi will improve massively. I wouldn’t write him off yet - tonight definitely wasn’t his best showing. Beterbiev etc are levels above him now, but him and Kov are getting on a bit.

Its embarrassing and im from the UK. Blatant. Its a hard enough game without them trying to rig it Although the blow was late, it wasnt any worse than Buatsi, which they were ignoring. To be fair to Edwards he took it well. The writing really was on the wall though.

It was a dirty shot while he was on the ground now that I saw the replay but he was done regardless. Like Roy Jones Montell Griffin almost. Also the flyweight was a title fight and that was only a 10 rounder so less important.

It was, but contrast the attitude. One it was, yeah he was hit low but he was on the way out anyway. Charlie was definitely on the way out too. Both situations of cheating, but very different reactions, point taken about the importance of the fight though.

Yeah I wish they would have given Ford his 5 minutes regardless. But instead, immediately write him off and keep hyping up Buatsi.

Oh well, I'm glad real British boxing fans like you give respect to the opponent even when he's not a very good fighter and looks like an MMA goon.

I'd never even heard of Ford til other day when I checked the undercard but it's so rare we get to cheer on a real Canadian. Usually it's someone from Haiti or Russia by way of Montreal.

I watched Buatsi's highlights before this fight and wasn't very impressed. He seemed to need a lot of shots to stop low-level opponents. And every fight was just him being allowed to do what he wanted. This is his first fight against someone who can actually fight back. Got no idea at this stage if Buatsi is good or not

US commentary is way better than Uk commentary. It's actually objective. UK commentary is still stuck in the 1980s. Always happy that Malignaggi is there to balance things up

I wouldn't say he looked terrible, but Buatsi is missing something. He is a bit too straight up and down. Very solid fundamental with good power so he will be a threat to anyone.
