    Mayweather-Castillo 1 was NOT a robbery

I went and watched the fight a third time and I still can’t see how anyone could argue that this was a robbery. I saw Mayweather build an early lead by sweeping the first five rounds, then winning rounds 8 and 10. 7-5 win for Floyd.

    My scorecard
    RD1: 10-9
    RD2: 10-9
    RD3: 10-9
    RD4: 10-9
    RD5: 10-9
    RD6: 9-10
    RD7: 9-10
    RD8: 10-8
    RD9: 9-10
    RD10: 9-9
    RD11: 9-10
    RD12: 9-10
    114-112 Floyd Mayweather

I think the confusion lies in round 10. A lot of fans think that just because Floyd got a point deducted in that round then it should automatically be scored 10-8 in favor of Castillo, when in reality that was a round Floyd clearly dominated and is objectively a 9-9 round by the boxing rules.

You gave Mayweather the first five rounds and scored the fight 6-5-1 Mayweather.

      This thread again...

Everyone except HBO and a bunch of Mayweather haters had Mayweather winning that fight that fight.

The media blasted HBO commentary after the fight for Harold's scorecard. Majority of media and people who didn't listen to HBO had Mayweather winning comfortably.

        Close fight but Mayweather won.

If Floyd lost a fight, it was definitely Mayweather-Maidana I. I've watched it twice and can't score it for Floyd, Maidana won that one IMO.

Close fight but i had Castillio winning. People just throw out "robbery" every time their fighter loses or the fighter they hates win.

I scored that fight 8-4 Mayweather.

I saw Maidana win four of the first five rounds, but in round six and beyond Mayweather made the right adjustments and outboxed Maidana the rest of the fight. Round eight is the only swing round in my opinion.

I think Castillo won 8 rounds but I can see how someone scored it 7-5 for JLC. As far as giving 6 plus rounds to Floyd is ridiculous, meaning that even with the point deduction, there's no way he could have won.

The judges gave Floyd rounds where he was being landed on 2-1!

Thought Floyd won 7-5. Castillo isn’t some bum either. Dude had great years at LW and was very good for long stretches. What’s always interesting is the second fight was scored closer but was a wide win for Floyd.
