I think logical true boxing fan have always said this, howver it sad that GGG'a own very fans are so fake they would rather throw GGG under the bus by saying shit like "CANELO WAITED TILL HE GOT OLDER" than just to admit the competition got better.

It's easy to knock people out when you're fighting a Vanes or Steve Rolls or even a Murata.
But get some real dudes in there and suddenly it's not that easy. That's why Golovkin wants no part of Andrade for example, even though they are both with the same promoter.

"If I’m a runner and I’m racing the butcher the baker and the candlestick maker, I’m running them off the track every time. But if I get a kid from UCLA that’s broken 5 records, I have to be ready"
Well if if's and's n but's was candies cherries and nuts then we'd all be Santa Claus, Andre. As the addage goes

same with Canelo... everyone backed Golovkin
everyone told me that Golovkin was waaaaay better than Canelo... most were saying, G is a master at cutting off the ring, he will stop Canelo to the body... probably early
Golovkin struggled to win the Canelo rematch, thats for sure
I had the rematch a draw. Canelo got more credit for fighting better than he did in 1st fight. Max Kellerman certainly affected people's perceptions with that whole "Golovkins winning but Canelos winning the story of the fight" crap he kept saying all night. Can't be mad at the decision though when fights are that close.

What he is saying is quite valid. Not sure who could argue against the fact that
GGG was steam rolling bums.
As soon as live experienced bodies show up GGG is fighting tooth and nail.
What’s even worst is the boxing writers insulted our intelligence creating the old fighter sound byte as soon as he was in real fights. GGG is good fighter but no where near the monster we were lead to believe.

As I've said before, you can criticize Canelo for the same **** you criticize Golovkin for. All this talk of Andrade, yada yada; Canelo isn't fighting him either, even though once he got G's belts, he suddenly wanted to be undisputed. "But DAZN wouldn't improve him." Yeah because Canelo had no interest in him, just Kovalev. You think out of all the people Canelo could fight, they picked Golovkin and Kovalev? Gtfoh. Canelo could've easily chosen Andrade for September and DAZN would've approved it because "Canelo moves the needle." Rolls was a bad opponent but those kinds of fights make sense. I didn't see Canelo fight Lara right after his loss to Mayweather, he fought a broken Angulo.

The worst version of CANELO beat the best version of GGG.
A rusty 1 year layoff Alvarez , coming fresh off of knee surgery gave Golovkin another loss & sent him to the locker room crying with his tail between his legs.
Don't forget Golovkin also had the height, reach, & weight advantages & was the favorite.
That's very impressive stuff from The #1 P4P Fighter & #1 Middleweight in the world , Saul CANELO Alvarez.

I guess its a cart before the horse (or vice versa) type thing. You could argue that he only looked good because he was fighting weaker competition. But the flipside of that is maybe the better fights didnt happen until he was older, marination can do that.
I'd be really interested to have someone try and argue that a man's physical prime is in their mid 30s. Most evidence now points to their mid 20s.
Moreover, though he doesnt have this amazing resume, GGG fought some very good opponents in the early 2010's. It just seems as if that is discounted because it doesnt fit with so many people's narrative. Or if you give him any credit you are to be denounced as a biased fan boy, etc etc
