Well I think GGG needs due credit for stopping the likes of former unified WBA/IBF champion Daniel Geale & former IBF champion David Lemieux. Of course people that throw out the term 'bum' or 'cans' for a fighter have never laced up gloves let alone come out from behind their keyboard so who gives a f***. At the end of the day GGG has nearly fought every credible name at 160, Golovkin's resume is actually impressive but haters gonna hate. People were actually accusing G of ducking Derevyanchenko so at least this fight shuts up a few more critics. Let's see how he goes in his next fight.

As I've said before, you can criticize Canelo for the same **** you criticize Golovkin for. All this talk of Andrade, yada yada; Canelo isn't fighting him either, even though once he got G's belts, he suddenly wanted to be undisputed. "But DAZN wouldn't improve him." Yeah because Canelo had no interest in him, just Kovalev. You think out of all the people Canelo could fight, they picked Golovkin and Kovalev? Gtfoh. Canelo could've easily chosen Andrade for September and DAZN would've approved it because "Canelo moves the needle." Rolls was a bad opponent but those kinds of fights make sense. I didn't see Canelo fight Lara right after his loss to Mayweather, he fought a broken Angulo.

Now the narrative is that his peak was when nobody would fight him 5+ years ago, so fans should just project his greatness based on that. Nope. I will look at all the fights his team failed to make and the styles of those fighters.
