Shouldn’t crawford fight a top dog before people claim he is pound fr pound. only canelo risks to lose. every fight loma , crawford and ggg that they hv fought they were the favorite to win. all these cowards unwilling to fight tough fights. freakn canelo going up 2 weight divisions to fight kovalov and these nobodies who cant sell their backyard think they are the best.Comment

No way Loma can be P4P #1 after just fourteen pro fights:
1. Crawford (too bad he fighting Kavaliauskases and Khans)
2. Alvarez (too bad he fighting who he wants)
3. Inoue (after Donaire the sky is open)
4. Spence (good thing he fighting Porter and for another title)
5. Lomachenko (he fighting olympic champion and for another title)Comment

Loma is quite humble and he always avoided placing himself in the P4P list. When he was asked, he was always saying his version of list without himself there (countless proofs in Youtube). I bet this time he was just referring to The Ring's P4P list instead of giving his own vision. I.e. whole this discussion is pointless.Comment

If your perspective is shaped just by a love of boxing, you will have Loma as #1, or possibly Loma #2 and Crawford as #1.
If your perspective is messed up by race, nationality, devotion to individual fighters etc, then you will come up with any excuse to deny Loma his dues.
Some people on this forum just simply love boxing, and let all the other bullshit go. But plenty of others just wallow in the shit.
Myself? I just love boxing. I don't know how other people could let their biases interfere with their own love of boxing. But I guess assholes are just assholes wherever you go.Comment

Loma destroyed Gary Russell in his 3rd fight. An undefeated champ. Gary russell beats 94% of everyone in his division. Then destroyed Nicholas Walters, who was considered a beast after he dismantled Donaire. Ko'ed Rigondeaux who was considered the best at that time & crushed Jorge Linares....No other boxer has beaten world champions and killers in such a short period of time. Loma is #1 P4P without question.
QUOTE=BoxingIsGreat20018414]P4P is BS. I'm still waiting for Loma's career defining fight. Campbell and the next two cans won't do it.
Loma is close to the end of his career but I still don't see any great fighters on his resume. Russell is his best win, and Russell hasn't done shit since.
Past time to step it up![/QUOTE]Comment
