Pac beat thurman who beat garcia who beat khan, who beat maidana, who beat floyd. Floyd certainly made maidana look elite and ATG material.
Thurman not too bad me thinks
    That's cute.
    Floyd beat pacquiao.

And half of them dont even follow boxing...just Manny and Floyd.

Atleast die hard Floyd fans can have a discussion about boxing without bringing up Manny...lol

Oscar De La Hoya is a harder puncher than Canelo Alvarez 'That is my personal opinion'. But I would also like to think that most people within boxing would agree.

If you was to make a poll on here 'Asking that question' I would be surprised if Canelo Alvarez won the vote.

'Alvarez has never been a big puncher at any weight' he is a solid puncher that is about it, his opponents do not fear his power.

floyd could break a hand off one of them hard faces at middle and lose. floyd at 150, the one with the legs skips through most. people keep thinking about the floyd who had to stop using his legs. skipped through canelo and dominated with hard shots to the faaaaaaaaace yo.

So if Pac is #1 ATG what does that make Jeff Horn????

Lol this argument went where it always goes. People who barely understand Boxing and are jealous of other people being successful hating Floyd.
Idiots wanting Floyd to fight at HW to prove he’s the best. At the lower divisions, a few didn’t even exist until the 80s and it’s damn near every 2lbs is a divisions. It’s easy to rack up wins. Manny somehow managed to get knocked out in those days. Then managed to get knocked out again once he moved up. Then managed to get knocked out AGAIN at ww. Keith is the only elite name he’s fought since Floyd and that was after Keith (who’s never been far above contender level) came back from semi-injury retirement and looked horrible against subpar competition. Manny’s career would’ve ended had he not blatantly ducked Spence and opted for Thurman. Ali fought in one weight class. He wasn’t going for greatness post Shavers fight he needed the money. Floyd actually went from SF to JM. Who else besides Floyd has been a unified champ in two divisions at once?! Greatness. Easily beating most competition and having one close fight in his career, Castillo. Manny got humiliated and made excuses- EVEN AFTER SAYING HE HAD NO EXCUSES. Floyd made manny look so bad he had to make up an excuse.

And Pac beat thurman a win better than anything on floyds resume. A young undefeated lion in prime with Pac 10 years past prime. Oldest WW ever, only 4 time Ww champ. Context of win is far reaching and multi layered like an onion.
Floyd beat a former flyweight still tentative from being koed a few fights earlier....jmm used goods and didn't look good doing it

Agreed. i always maintained Canelo was Floyds toughest fight physically. Canelo hurt him badly, i remember looking at Floyd in an interview the day after and you'd think he has in a war rather than a shutout.

I do not recognize Manny at 154 at all.

Manny had some success between 126 and 147 and that was a very impressive run, but he was never "the guy" at 147 as he avoided Floyd and eventually lost a lopsided decision to Floyd.

Nonetheless I believe Manny wouldve beaten anyone from 130-140 had he stayed at those weights. I'm not speaking all-time but "at that time".
floyd ducked PAC with his own ridiculous demands
                    the world knows that

Floyd fought a 1 arm PAC
it was very close, half of the world saw PAC winning

it was margarito that benefited from it

                    Height
                    MARG: 5'11" PAC: 5'5"

                    Reach
                    MARG: 73" PAC: 67"

Margarito came in 17lbs heavier than PAC

The fighter knows his own body if he is rehydrated or not
A fighter wont go in a fight to lose or be hurt brutally

The fighter knows his own body MORE THAN ANYONE

                    Pacquiao is against all odds

Floyd is good on lower weight divisions
PAC is great on lower weights up to current weightclass, 10 divisions apart
