Floyd implied he'd beat Ggg and martinez, yet didn't try?
The zero meant too much. Floyd was very calculated, every boxing decision he ever made came back to zero.

... but, but you forget that Ward also offered to come way down at 160 in order to fight Floyd (hence that "li'l Floyd" syntagm used by Ward)...

... when Martinez offered to fight him at 154 it would have been an actual onslaught, tbh...

And GGG said 154-168 was easy yet never tried

But Floyd said he's TBE. Boxers in history have done incredible things. If Floyd fought a middleweight it is not something that has never been done before! Let's ignore the issue of whether Floyd could have won or not.
What's Ggg got to do with anything?

Because you are trying to slam Floyd for not moving up yet another weight class while GGG has moved nowhere and only fought 2 people worth a damn in his entire career...Floyd has nothing else to prove period

If you want to be the greatest, you always have more to prove.

Ali went out trying to prove all he could and he paid the price, but he will also live forever in boxing legend.

History will remember Floyd as one of the most promising technical and dominant fighters ever who never pushed himself, especially when he retired in 2009 instead of writing his name in boxing history.

Floyd will always be a what if.

How the hell do you call yourself the greatest.. when in your prime... you were in the best division in the entire world... with the likes of Paul Williams, Shane Mosley, Margarito, Cotto...

and then you "retired" in your prime. Floyd didn't retire, he ****ing ducked them because he knew wouldn't keep his O if he didn't run.

How does that not make sense? Ali went out chasing greatness and 100 years from now when we're all dead, People will still be talking about Ali and studying his life and his fights. There will still be people saying he's the greatest.

100 years from now Floyd will just be a footnote. If people even remember him at all will just say something like.. " oh he was good but he never really fought the best in their prime."
