Best Dirty Fighters

I forgot about hold and hit Hatton but what you say is true and the English refs let him do as he pleased. He smashed Tszyu with a vicious uppercut to the balls on purpose and the ref said nothing. Mayweather was bull strong and a great dirty fighter himself so Hatton's holding while hitting did not work with Mayweather. Plus the fight was in the USA so Hatton got no extra help from the ref.Did anybody mention Ricky "Holdman" Hatton? He wasn't trying to hide it and only got away with it cause of hometown favoritism, but he had it down to a science. No body was better at holding and hitting than he was. It was one of the only reasons I gave him a chance versus Floyd. I didn't think Floyd would be able to outmuscle Hatton the way he did. I always said "If Andre Ward was a Brit, he would be bigger than Hatton was in the UK".Comment

Holyfield, Hopkins, Ward, are the best headbutters I’ve seen. Joshua has a pretty slick elbow off his left hook that almost looks accidental. He landed it on Ruiz, too.
Bika gets an honorable mention; he uses his to prevent a knockdown and keep a man up to beat on him.Comment

I don't think he acheived anything better than interim WBA champ. He wasn't the most accomplished fighter so it's easy to forget him.
Another Argentinian fighter that comes to mind is former jr. flyweight champ Luis Lazarte. He was DQ'd numerous times and was banned for life by the IBF after he started a riot during one of his fights.Comment
