Who are the best dirty fighters. They illegally mess with opponents and get away with it

Andre Ward gets a lifetime achievement award. The dude is so dirty it's beautiful. He has (had) the entire bag of tricks - leading with his head, elbows, low blows, rabbit punches - and was slick enough to get away with it.

Some others come to mind:
Hagler was notorious for using his head.
Tyson threw a vicious elbow.
Ali liked to hold his opponents head down and went for the rabbit punches quite often.

But every fighter has their dirty ways. Some guys like to step on feet. Some guys like like to thumb the eye. You don't become a top pro without a few dirty tricks up your sleeve.

And then there's the All-Time Idiot Award for this category: Andrew Golota. Idiot had the World Championship in his hands and couldn't stop fouling.

Wilfredo Gomez with low blows . Fkkr was the master in low blows. He probably made Pintor sterile.

In the last 25 years...Hopkins, Ward, Floyd, Horn. Though I will say, I have to wonder how the refs can't see some of their very blatant and obvious fouls. More like corruption to me.

Yes. They used hp to close cuts back in the days.
I saw Little Red Lopez lose a fight one time because it accidentally got on his eyes while they were working on his cuts.

Liston might have had some in his gloves in the first Ali fight too. Ali was blinded for a while .
