Kathy Duva: Kovalev vs Canelo will be at 175

I was catching up on the 3 Knockdown Rule podcast and Steve Kim said he talked to Kathy Duva and she revealed to him if Canelo and Sergey fought, it would be at the 175 limit. The contract that was sent to Kovalev was contracted at 175 but she didn't reveal if there was a rehydration clause. Thoughts?

I think there will be a rehydration clause to drain Kovalev, Canelo is too dirty to miss that opportunity.

The IBF have rehydration clauses as protocol for title fights the morning of the fight and there’s no other way around it whereas other orgs can exceed 10lbs+ on top of that.

Many fans say the IBF is one of the “best orgs” because it stands firm on its rules.

If we go by this logic, you can’t fault Canelo, especially if we don’t have any details about the cap limit for the rehydration which is most likely just a morning cut off and then he gain as much as he wants for fight night.

Kovalev does not hold IBF belt. He is WBO champ.

They wouldn't be fighting for the IBF title, dummy.

You read what I wrote a few more times, slowly. I said most say the “best org” is the IBF.

              You’re smarter than this...

My points come across so clearly it gets many in denial. You can’t criticize rehydration clauses when one org in the sport makes the disadvantage firm.

100% there is a rehydration clause. Kov will have to take it or leave it... sadly

I’d love to see canelo vs Krusher.

Canelo will realise why there are weight classes.

Look, I don't like Kovalev at all, but he's a great boxer and I respect him as a boxer.
If there is a rehydration clause, we should come together as fans and trash that
                    Don't pretend it's a 50/50 fight, if there's a rehydration clause, it's 100 percent sure that Canelo will win.
