Ward is very knowledgeable, experienced and well analyzing
What makes him a fraud is he never hesitates to tell a lie as long as it serves him

He won a tournament to crown the best fighter at 168 lbs.

He beat Chad Dawson when Dawson was the WBC light heavyweight champion of the world.

He folded Sergey Kovalev and ruined him mentally, even causing him to go to a monastery to try and find himself.

He tried fighting Golovkin who didn't want that smoke.

What more was he supposed to do?

Ward was pretty damn amazing. What he did in the super 6 alone was amazing.

Not have an asterisk next to his every big win except Froch

Stop being the dirtiest fighter of his generation

Stop pretending his shyt doesn't stink

          Fight outside of his country

Not go to court with the man who made him who he is 3 times

Get his punchable face syndrom treated

I could go on and on

Ward never had his Pacquiao or Mayweather to get that signature win. Kovalev beat him in the first fight IMO but he won the rematch so that was a good win.

Froch and Kessler also good wins.

Dawson 7 lbs down from his weight did nothing for me, the guy was a dead man walking and it showed in the fight.

Excellent fighter but this ATG talk is a little crazy to me.

You spin it an way you want. firstly you look like a clown by even mentioning the Chad Dawson fight, not even the ego maniac Ward even mentions that fight. You know Dawson was dead at the weight...right? and i say dead at the weight as a massive understatement, he was a complete zombie.

He never fought without hometown advantage, hometown reffs letting him clinch, headbutt, lowblow at will.

He was beaten by kovalev in the first fight and every non fanboy boxing fan knows it.

His entire gameplan revolved around clinching and dirty tactics, which was called his fantastic 'inside game' by you and the other fanboys. which was potshot single jab, rush in with his head, clinch, mix in some elbows, headbutts and lowblows and rinse and repeat.

IF he fought outside of his hometown and for example fought Kessler and Kovalev in their backyards, thats 2 guaranteed L's right off the bat, how many 'accidental' headbutts were there in the kessler fight? 5? i mean thats just ridiculous. Ward literally headbutted his eye closed, you can make an argument the russians would of DQ'd him for multiple lowblows in the kovalev rematch as well.

Im not denying he was a good boxer, but he only fought with hometown reffs and judges for a VERY good reason.

Credit where credit is due, the froch win was a great win but for me the Kessler and kovalev fights have a MASSIVE asterisk next to them, and without them his resume looks very very thin.

High IQ fighter, could've beat Bellew at CW and become a 3-division champion.

Usyk vs. Ward would've been one of the greatest CW fights of all time.

He didn't have hometown refs or judges when he won the Olympics.

Nah I disagree. Ward was amazing and Kovalev was his Floyd/Manny fight although a better comparison would be Manny/Marquez. Floyd and manny wasn’t close and they weren’t ring rivals- Floyd smoked him. Floyd and manny were career rivals. Big difference.
Ward’s problem is what someone above mentioned- he’s a liar and will say anything and belittle anyone as long as it suits him. His infamous “who is we?” Comes to mind.
He’s definitely an ATG. I’d say in the pass decade Lil g & Aj have been the biggest hype-jobs with Loma at 3rd. Lil g by a landslide is the biggest hype-Job. Then Aj. Loma is talented and different in the way that maybe he does achieve a certain status...but he hasn’t achieved it yet. At the height of loma hype racists said he was better than Ali and Floyd. Heck Racists & casuals said he’d beat Floyd. Lmao Everyone here remembers that if y’all have followed Boxing.
