LOL! $103M earned through PPV since DAZN launched, how much has DAZN earned from their bullshît $20 subscriptions? LMAOO PPV is alive and wellComment

The point is $103M were generated through PPV WITHOUT Mexicans. You can bring up Alvarez vs Chavez Jr, but Mayweather vs Mosley had way more buys and the fight cost more.Canelo vs Chavez Jr alone almost eclipses all of those combined. There is only one PPV star in the sport that can command 80$+ a fight. He no longer fights on PPV, you can watch him for 20$, and because of that any other PPV fight not involving him is a rip off. Spence Vs. Porter is a prime example. That fight belongs on regular Showtime. Spence fights on PPV, but he's not a PPV star. There is a difference.
Canelo fighting on DAZN did nothing but bring in more people to fight on PPV in his absence. I hope you’re looking forward to Wilder vs Ortiz, Wilder vs Fury, Spence vs Pacquiao, Spence vs Crawford being on PPV because DAZN is doing nothing to stop itComment

The TRUTH!How does DAZN take an L? If anything all those PPV's will make DAZN a more attractive option for boxing fans. PBC already feeling the heat and can't compete so have to put fights on PPV just to pay the fighters. The people taking the L are US boxing fans, supporting these ridiculous PPV's.Comment

Its been pointed out to me (due to a comment from here literally copy-pasted around the same time) that ts is literally an inferiority-complex-riddled ldbc crybaby that litters the dontaeboxingnation comments section like a plague with his pathetic *** hogwash.
Thank you and have a pleasant day.Comment

Porter-Granados was the damn undercard for Wilder-Stiverne 2 and they had to close half the arena because Wilder wasn't big enough of a draw. So Wilder and Porters combined drawing power is still in the ballpark of what Wilder normally draws, meaning Porter had absolutely nothing to do with the amount of people that showed up.Comment

1.2 million subscribers * 20 USD * 12 months is almost $300 million a year from the US alone and they don't have to split that revenue with cable companies. Even if all their subscribers are paying the yearly fee instead of monthly they still have a lot of money coming in. DAZN is the top grossing sports app. How's PBC's OTT streaming service doing? Oh, wait, they don't have one because they were such a total disaster that they had to abandon their original roadmap and have to settle for having most of their fights on FS1 which can't even get as many viewers as women's fights on ESPN2.Comment

Stop lying. They only have 150k subscribers in the USA. 150,000 x $20 x 12 = $36,000,000. It’s even less than $36M because a lot of DAZN subscribers use the $100 plan which is $8.33 a month. That’s with Matchroom, Golden Boy and WBSS1.2 million subscribers * 20 USD * 12 months is almost $300 million a year from the US alone and they don't have to split that revenue with cable companies. Meanwhile, ever since DAZN launched, the PPV market has garnered $103M and it’s about to gain even more from Spence vs. Porter and Wilder vs Ortiz. That’s with PBC and Top Rank by itself.
DAZN aid a huge fail. All PBC and Top Rank have to do is put up 1-2 PPV’s each and they’ve already eclipsed DAZN’s annual earnings from subscribers, take that LComment

I can't argue with the poster. I can't tell a matured man how to spend his money but am quite amused how a matured man prefers to pay more for a service he can get for less just to brag to his contemporaries about how much money he pays for a fight.Comment
