Hearn: Canelo/DAZN Deal Will End PPV Boxing In the United States
Eddie Hearn believes the historic deal Canelo Alvarez, Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN have struck will signal the end of pay-per-view boxing in the United States. The 28-year-old Alvarez’s 11-fight contract with the new streaming service reportedly could be worth as much as $365 million. It’ll also make the Mexican superstar’s fights available as part of a $9.99 monthly subscription to DAZN

Then sit around and watch as six PPV's happen within one year. Tripling the amount of PPV's in 2018.
Yup. Deadzone fanboys are just triggered. They should just come out and be honest about their racist sides lol. All their remarks are targeted at PBC which is not surprising. As usual. It’s Deadzones fault for not putting on interesting fights worth paying $240 a year. That’s free money they’d be getting. Canelo v Jacobs was the only interesting fight they had announced. Aj v Ruiz ENDED UP being interesting. That’s only 2 fights this year, being generous, for $240??! I think not. PBC puts out plenty of free content and amazing fights. So these racists need to get their stories straight. Dead zone puts out zero free fights. Most Americans will pay for something we’re interested in we’re not buying every single ppv just the guy we follow usually.

Hahaha, that is so far from the truth.

Myself and all my friends never worry about ppv ever again. We stream all that **** for free!!! Keep putting them on.

No fan boy here, i dont even get it. I just did the math for those that do and it seems like a good deal to me but clearly you would rather crap all over DAZN and pay $80-$90 for more mismatch PPV fights with a weak undercard. Infact you seem over the moon with it. I just find that very very strange.

It seems one particular promotional outfit is ripping American Boxing fans off big time whilst at the same time refusing to let their fighters take big money to fight for world titles on other networks but then repay their loyalty by paying them less than half than these other networks would pay up and block unified and undisputed fights. Its the PBC. But thats all good to you. You defend that and hate on everything else. I just find it very very strange.

The PPVs are a desperate attempt to hang on. PBC can't compete with what DAZN are paying fighters. But all it's going to do is drive more people away from PPV. PPV is dying. Companies like the WWE already know this, why do you think they switched monthly sub?
Hahaha it went from "DAZN will end PPV", to "They didn't say they'll do it within a year". So when is DAZN going to finally end the PPV market? Because I seen nothing but PPV stacked on top of PPV's this year. And there are more potential PPV's to look forward to in 2020,

          1. Wilder vs Fury
          2. Errol Spence vs Terence Crawford
          3. Errol Spence vs Manny Pacquiao

And we all know Bob Arum is getting ready to put Loma on PPV. DAZN is on suicide watch LOL!!

There may have been more PPV events this year, but how many PPV buys? Less than the two from last year.

Like the guy above said. You're celebrating having to pay for PPV's. How ****** is that?

I like how you used the word "racists", 99% of the PBC haters are a bunch of mexicans/white boys.

Good for PPV buyers. I never thought they would end PPV's. America is a tough country to break when there is backwards weirdo's like yourself who brag about an increase of low quality PPV's that dont do good numbers.

I don’t mind ppv still being a thing but for $70 put on better cards. They not even caring anymore

                      Look at the Spence-Porter PPV

Spence-Porter (this a regular showtime fight not a ppv)

Benevitez-Dirrell ( another Dirrell brother gets a undeserved title shot for the 15th time)

                      Another pointless Chavez jr showcase

Lopez-Molina (why?? No point of putting this on a ppv card, instead it should be on the prelims on Fox

This is supposed to be a big PPV don’t even get me started with Arum and his Top recycle ppv’s
