He’s about 65% of his former self probably.

But what Floyd fans/PAC haters fail to recognize is that PAC and Floyd were so astronomically better than their peers, that even their aged lesser forms of their prime are still better than the top young dogs in the WW division.

Imagine a PRIME Pacquiao against current Spence?
He would ANNIHILATE Spence. Probably a Tenth Rd. TKO.

Imagine a prime Floyd vs. Crawford? Simply outclasses him easily.

They don’t make them like they used to.

If losses are not a big deal, why do diehard fans of Manny and other guys on this board ( most recently Loma) go out of their way to explain away the losses?

The losses happened. They are real. Accept them and move on.

We’re analyzing how none of them really indicate any type of falling of in regards to PAC abilities. Which explains how he still dominated Thurman even at 40 years of age ya chump!!

        Jeff Horn-Robbery
Whether you’re a fan of Pcquiao or not, you know it was. Every single sports analyst said so. The illegal head butting and putting Manny in headlocks. Everybody seen the Aussie almost go down in the 9th, same round Crawford got the TKO. And Manny has Horn beat up worse. Plain robbery.

Mayweather-Much closer fight than media say it was. It was obvious the media was hyping Floyd. The commentators kept speaking him up. It was a draw or Mayweather win 7-5 at best.
But every fighter Floyd fought has “lost” to him. So this doesn’t indicate anything.
Doesn’t indicate any decline in skill or talent of Manny.
Never was Manny in any trouble, so little action it just doesn’t mean much.

Marquez KO-Manny’s first real loss since Morales in 05.
Many like to credit it to Marquez “timing” or “lucky punch”. The truth is, Manny became overly aggressive and started fighting out of anger.
He was robbed in his previous bout with Tim Bradley which was highly influential in decision to fight extra aggressively this fight. Had the Bradley fight not been judged wrong, PAC Marquez 4 could have played out like their 3rd fight.

My point is, that throughout these fights and so called “losses” never did they indicate Manny lost his talent. Or his skill. He’s still just as dominant as you seen against Thurman.

The only difference maker was the Marquez KO because after Manny became much more technical and now settles for the UD rather than acting on his previous killer instinct and going for the kill.

Guys, we just witnessed the great Manny Pacquiao, 40 years old and all, beat the **** out of undefeated 30 year old top dog in WW division Keith Thurman.

Let’s bask in this greatness and appreciate history.

That’s all I have for you folks.
Bradley and Mayweather battered Manny. The only questionable decision is Horn.

Your trolling game is weak. The pac t a r d in you is strong though.

Maybe the fact he beat Thurman after losing to Horn and Floyd indicates Thurman has dropped dramatically since the injury. I think it’s clear Mannybhas lost something as any 40 year old would.

You know the Floyd and Horn fights had Vada and USADA testing while the Thurman fight only had Vada style testing administered by nsac. Maybe that had some impact on performance as well.

The more excuses that are made, the weaker he looks.

He lost to the greatest defensive fighter of all time, no shame in that.

Yes, I agree with thread 100% it's something I've thought many times but never started thread which I shouldve.
Pac getting robbed by Bradley contributed to his ko loss to jmm.
Plus winning points decisions over jmm wasn't enough, Pac could do that time after time he wanted ko this time. He got overly aggressive.
Can you imagine how many losses by ko Floyd would have if he chased a ko in Mexico v nel o or Pac in phillipines

This is an all new level in justifying a loss. The temerity to write that with a straight face is simply astounding.
