I think all of them are forgetting the fight he just lost. He was fighting an unknown mexican in Arizona. Lost a points decision. What about Ngoudjo who he lost to a clear, but close points decision.

But naw, he's fantastic. You seen his double punch? Shietttt.
No one said he was fantastic.
But he is tough, durable and crafty.
He could potentially give top fighters problems.

With every name bum he beats, he loses to two we've never heard of, lol. I was unaware there were Augustus supporters out there other than his family

What we have here is a post teen and a teen talking **** about a bunch of fights they haven't seen, and telling a bunch of people who like to watch Augustus that they're crazy because you too see a whole bunch of red dots on his Boxrec page.

Nothing you can say is going to change the fact he's popular simply because people want to see him fight.

Have you guys seen Dorin - Augustus? FFS. What about Reid - Augustus? Or Warrick - Augustus (the same guy who jut got KTFO by Demetrius Hopkins)? Outclassed every single time.

I don't really care how he prepared, or what have you. Point is, he's supposedly taking his career 'seriously' now (which is what HE said in his own words). ANd he's 1-2 in those last 3 fights.

I know he's popular. I'm not debating that. I'm saying there is no point in any top level guy fighting him because he is not a challenge.

You were unaware he's ESPN's most popular active fighter?

There's a reason he's on there so often, and the fact you're complete unaware underlines the point I'm making.

You don't know what you're talking about. It's like you told me when only 4 fights in the last decade have had even rounds scored.

You've been watching boxing for less than two years, and come here to hate and complain about things you have little to no understanding of.

Gatti's popular too. Has he ever been competitive with a great fighter? Hell no.

Diego, Gatti basically fought Ward in the 'prime' of his career. Pretty much outboxed Ward in 2 of the fights. One was close as hell, though. Have you seen the life and death war with Augustus - Ward? Imagine what Hatton would do to this chump. It woudln't be funny.

I dont mind watching Augustus fight. I just dont take him seriously. Anyone who takes a dive like the one Augustus did that was posted here sometime ago cant be taken seriously. He's only good enough to lose everytime...but watchable.

I also think it's hilarious how his supporters say he fights on a week's notice and **** and that's why he loses. It's called DON'T TAKE THE FIGHT. The way Augustus lives, he just goes into every fight with a built in excuse, making it appear to be a win-win situation for him. Well, nobody gives a damn, Augustus. He's as delusional as they come.
