He was asked what Rob McCracken told him after the fight and he said Rob wanted him to fight Charr or Hunter and he never supported the Ruiz fight. However, he went with Ruiz because that's what the network/promoter/broadcaster wanted and, the finger right there is pointing at Hearn/Matchroom. Hearn is a scumbag. Ruiz didn't sell no tickets and most casuals wouldn't even be able to know the difference between Ruiz and Charr (Charr is a actually a better choice for casuals than Ruiz). Also, in a new territory with so much pressure - you just have to ease a fighter in, into the new terrain. You don't go out there writing cheques you can't cash with your big mouth - then pick the worst style match-up with no incentive, for a boxer you claim you care about. British invasion of America blah blah blah. What a prick!

Eddie Hearn sabotaged AJ. If he doesn't leave Matchroom after the rematch - he's dumb as fu..ck. And if he wins the rematch - he needs to drop the WBO belt if they force a Usyk mandatory. Fury's also right when he said Hearn got AJ beat.

I'd say the whole interview was bizarre and as a fan of AJ, I expected him to be more open and direct. However, he'd go off on a tangent with a lot of the answers. And there was a point where he was asked about the neck massage before the fight. He didn't know the camera was back on him and had a facial expression that showed something wasn't right but changed his face as soon as he realised the camera was on him. Then went on speaking in riddles/parables again. Those of us in the know are aware of what happened and a lot of things will come out in the open after the rematch.

Also, the nonsense Hearn says all the time that Aj told him are all pure lies. AJ didn't tell that schmuck anything and a classic example is the idiocy about running it back at the MSG.

AJ has struggled with short guys throughout his career. He lost at the European championships in the amateurs to a short guy with the same punch that Ruiz hit him in the temple with.
