Many believe that Ruiz will be compensated above the contracted rematch purse for fighting under the conditions presented in Saudi. Simply put, many believe that he is within his rights to not want to fight in Saudi due to social and political conditions and that Hearn will pay him extra to do ignore those social and political conditions.Comment

So no way is he just using the Saudi safety and social angle to get more money?Comment

Of course he is but he was groaning about the U.K. too. If it was in Canada even Las Vegas he will continue to moan. However , before he just wanted a suitcase of snickers ,now procrastinating on a contract you originally signed prior to the fight is cool if it means trumping Eddie Hearn?Last edited by Noelanthony; 08-19-2019, 08:44 PM.Comment

I’d never go to Saudi Arabia if I were Andy unless the compensation is outstanding.
Like 50/50 at leastComment

Hearn knows this. It’s more weasel Hearn stuff to get out of rematch. Obvious. Come on guys.Comment

Buddy...you literally just described what's likely happening, but you seem to be too simple to recognize that in business you don't play your hand by being overtly obvious.
Also, tell me what major internationally renowned event took place in Saudi. Washed Amir Khan isn't it.
Formula 1, Golf, Tennis, Soccer, WWE, Boxing. All been to Saudi and nobody lost a hand or a head.Comment

Andy could win in court and force a purse big where he gets 75% and AJ gets 25%.
Imagine if PBC controls all the titles and only way AJ gets a shot is taking a quarter of the purse.
Man wouldn’t that be something. Imagine if that is the real game plan this whole time.Comment
