Its gonna end up in court
I don’t think anyone realistically thought Ruiz would win the fight.
AJ’s side thought they would have a showcase fight in NYC then move on.
Ruiz’s side thought even a loss would raise his profile for future PBC fight, was a significant payday, and pretty much signed anything they had to to get the fight on short notice.
It was one of the biggest upsets ever and that changed Ruiz and Haymon’s thinking. I don’t personally think they can walk away from the contract and keep the titles but time will tell.
I personally think this is just some posturing 5 months out from the fight. They’ll change the location or throw him some extra money and the fight will go on.

Only if Eddie is more ****** than even Bob thinks right now.

Steve Bunce is even saying they are gonna pay Andy more money or change the venue.

Eddie put his head in his ass with this move. Dude was killing it pre-DAZN, but hes been taking L's like a mofo since that deal. Best deal of his life & the worst run of his life. He's trying to put a square peg in a round hole with this one doe.

If Ruiz gets took to court that loss of income he'll pay to Joshua is going to be a big bill. People seem to be concentrating on Hearn and not seeing Ruiz is ****ing himself.

Agree. Andy will get paid what he's worth or Eddie is gonna make a bigger ass of himself with a lawsuit that is an L for everyone & just results in the fight being pushed out & Andy still getting paid what he's worth. Eddie too much into his ego with this sh^t.

Being a bit dramatic there chief

I think the problem with trying to crack the American tv / streaming market is no one wanted Hearn to succeed from the off .

Hopefully they do pay Ruiz more and he signs . Can’t remember too many guys flaking out of a rematch contract I must admit

Hearn has always been a ****** scumbag but I think Arum is the ****** one here. Saudi Arabia and pretty much every country in Europe, including the UK - is on the same level of threat according to the US government.

You can call Hearn ****** for picking a PBC fighter and not just anyone, the one with the worst style match-up vs AJ on short notice. Call him ****** for destroying Kell Brook's career. And call him ****** for gassing up that bum, Dave Allen. But he isn't ****** for this one. Ruiz has no legs to stand on and they picked the country that will bankrupt Ruiz and PBC, if they end up renegading on the contract, since the fat fu..cker kept moaning about the UK.

I've a feeling the fight will most likely end up in Cardiff. Old fart, Arum, is the ****** one here.

Is Cardiff available for the 7th of December? Anything after Dec 7th & the IBF orders Ruiz to defend against Pulev.

                    Nah, most likely Dec. 14.

Before the Saudi Arabia announcement, everyone that I know who's close to AJ's camp said Dec. 14 in Cardiff. So who knows?

And IBF said they have to fight the mandatory next yr. As long as the fight happens before the date specified for the mando - they're good.

Regardless, Arum is still an old fart. And Hearn will always be a ****** scumbag.

The fights gonna happen whether it’s in Saudi Arabia or somewhere else.
