This is a solid pick...heavies usually get a bad rep for being unskilled but I think most of the current good ones are pretty solid there...truth is that any successful fighter is going to have good skills lol...otherwise they wouldn't be any good.

For as much sh.it as Wilder gets he's never been bad enough to get KOed and he's been in with some decent comp...and then Ortiz and Fury are two of the best at HW...and for the record I didn't see Fury put on any clinic in their fight until the last 6 rounds, where he got dropped twice...I felt Ortiz was outboxing Wilder worse.

But neither one could outbox him enough to really get to him and stop him...that alone shows he has some skills...if he was some talentless bum with a big punch average heavies would generally be able to box circles around him and then put him out.

Now I see why he has been protected throughout his career.
Ruiz is the most skilled HW right now but Wilders far from a low hanging fruit as far as champs go. Wilder has 40 freaken KOs, u dont have to be sugar ray leonard with that kinda power. Even if u think Wilders fought bums, hes KOd them.

As far as who is the least skilled, I will have to say Munguia is an eye sore out of all current champs.

LMAO at the fat Mexican being the most skilled heavyweight because of a fluke and lucky punch. Ruiz has fast hands, throws punches in punches and he's a decent counterpuncher - that's where it ends. Ruiz ploddes on his feet and he's a pressure fighter who doesn't know how to cut off the ring. His ring IQ is also pretty low.

I think Fury is the most skilled in the heavyweight division based on pure talent but he's just boring to watch and below average on the front foot. AJ is the most complete boxer out of all of them but he's terrible against short guys and he doesn't really use his jab when he needs to.

Wilder is the worst boxer in the whole division. Footwork is terrible. And he does everything the wrong way. The guy just has one-trick and he has been matched well against boxers that have made that trick look better than it's.

Well, you won't be glad when Ruiz gets beaten into a coma in the rematch, you muppet.

It was a lucky punch that changed the fight. Deal with it.

Shawn Porter. Falling into his opponent while punching, headbutts, excessive holding in almost all his fights. I've never been impressed with him even when he wins.

He can hurt and/or stop anyone because he hits like a freight train, and has 36 minutes to land the one punch he needs to do it. He will not outbox any of the top 10 heavyweights.

I literally said that it's nigh-on impossible to avoid getting hit cleanly for 12 rounds. If he couldn't land at least one clean punch in 36 minutes, that would be horrendous. I'm not lying to anybody. Anyone who knows about Wilder, knows that he has very little fundamentals and relies on the 1-2 to the point that Fury dodged it for nearly the entirety of their match. This is not news.

He does the 1-2 better than most. He wins for a reason and he KO's people for a reason there's more than a simple 1-2 this guy has the mindset of champion. At this level 90% is mental. One can't say that Roy Jones was simply a great athlete with great reflexes, giving all the credit to athletisism. Or Ali rarely threw body punches and relied only on a jab therefore he was limited. Frazier had no right hand and relied on his left hook. Foreman mastered the 1-2 and threw amateurish punches. Norton had a crab like shell and threw a weird overhand right. Wilder is awkward and is not text book obviously, and his basketball player frame limits him from throwing 4 punch combos but he gets the job done. I'll leave you alone.
