Why are posters talking about the Joshua-Ruiz contract like they have read it?

The terms for the rematch were included in the contract he already signed, and one of the terms is that Eddie and AJ get to pick the location and venue.
Seems like standard stuff but maybe rematch clauses work differently in the states.

Hearn isn't an amateur, He wouldn't be announcing this fight if he didn't have Ruiz dead to rights in regards to control of the fight specifics. Some people would actually rather see Ruiz end up in court than in the ring in Saudi Arabia lol.

Cuz its always more fun to live in the black n white as always with most topics we talk about here vs to realize most things exist in the gray.

They're more interested in Haymon vs Hearn than Ruiz vs AJ.

If the fight doesn't happen where Haymon wants it ... they don't want it to happen at all.

Reportedly they submitted the original contract with the rematch clause terms to the IBF to allow Ruiz an exception to fight AJ again instead of their mando. If what Hearn was saying wasn’t legit I’m sure at the very least it would come out.
Hearn had a few guys penciled in as a quick replacement. Ruiz wasn’t expected to win anyway so it’s within reason signing a rematch clause that guaranteed him $9 million and the guys running the event control of the venue wasn’t a deal breaker to lock in a $5 million dollar payday when he was making $200k in his last fight.

You didn't get the contract by FedEx? The rest of us did.
Maybe Eddie doesn't have your home address...you know, the bridge you sleep under.
