Neither wants to go to Court lets be realistic about this! Why go to court when even a Judge would suggest that they come to an AGREEMENT instead of wasting a Judge time with this minor nonsense that can be sorted out if EGOS are set aside

If they can't do that then good luck to both in court, I wouldn't want a judge sorting this thing out if I'm either side

    • Joshua wanted to fight back at MSG it was Edward and daddy that didn't .To get this over the line Edward will reluctantly do this as a court case win would not pay as well as the actual fight and could drag on .Ruiz will hammer Joshua again.......as long as his mind and body are right!

      • Hearn and Joshua are trying they best to not have the fight in America.they don't want to risk losing in the rematch or possibly getting caught for peds

        • Holy mackerel. If Hearn and AJ are so confident that the first fight was a fluke , what the hell difference does it matter where the rematch is ??? AJ for some I fell, think he cannot win in America which is bad news.

          • Can some of my American brothers answer this question for me please...why is it that any fighter that’s not from the U.S is expected at some point to fight in America but American fighters are not expected to travel and get no criticism in doing so? Seems like double standards but if there’s a legitimate reason I’m all ears.

Problem is not taking the fight means a few of those titles would be vacated and AJ would be installed as the interim or be put in a fight to pick them up right away.
He signed the deal to get his shot. Not really any way out where he gets what he wants.
I think they’ll throw him some extra cash and the fight happens in Saudi Arabia in Dec.

... Hearn will pay Ruiz some more money (but this only in case he really wants the fight)...

If he doesn't go through with this rematch, he might as well retire because --

                (a) If he fights anyone other than AJ next, he will be sued and will lose in court. Hearn has a rematch contract.

                (b) Hearn will sue any promoter who interferes with his rematch clause, thus if Ruiz can't fight...how will he make a living to pay for his crazy ass spending.

                (c) IBF will strip him due to not honoring his mandatory (which he can't because no promoter will promote his fight out of fear of legal litigation). WBA & WBO may soon follow suit and strip him if their champion can't defend his titles.

Ruiz was a voluntary fight, he didn't "earn" it per se so he should just honor his contract. Hearn and co are not fighting in the U.S or Mexico...what part of this does Ruiz not understand?

Oh and he say Joshua is scared of him? How? Ruiz seems to forget that Joshua dropped him too.
Alotta fighters get dropped but it’s what happens after that counts and Ruiz got up and ktfo of Joshua

If you think Ruiz isn’t fighting Joshua next you are delusional it’s not about if they will fight it’s about Ruiz not letting himself get set up he’s making sure that snake Hearn doesn’t get his way.

                Love Ruiz for it.
