its ***in insane how much recognition baldo is getting now. im not saying its a bad thing cuz he deserves all the credit with his last two wins and his 20something consecutive win streak. id also have to go with baldo if he were to fight cotto.

my gut feeling would be i would go with cotto but there is something about baldomir that makes me think he would be able to overcome adversity and stop cotto.

SAeriously with Cotto's so so chin, yet superior boxing skills...to...Baldomirs titanium chin and relentless yet limited skills

IT IS A TOTAL 50/50 pick for me, but odds in vegas will be on Cotto so id drop a couple C-notes on Baldy

Unbelievable. Baldomir beats one of the most unstable fighters ever in Judah (who shouldn't have even shown up with the performance he gave) and a past-prime, C+ fighter in Gatti and all of a sudden he's this tough wrecking ball with a cannon of a right hand.

Cotto has been in against guys that he hasn't been able to hurt and he's never been discouraged by that before. N'Dou and Abduallaev both ate Miguels best punches and kept trying to push him backwards. Cotto just fought his fight, busted them up a bit, and won those fights.

Cotto won't have to drain himself any more...he is still only going to get better. He is a 25 year old fighter with a good pedigree and tons of talent. I don't think this is a case of boy and man at all.

Jesus, Cotto does have a so so chin but does not have superior boxing skill, hes a slugger. I like Cotto because of his style of just going in there swinging but his boxing skill is piss poor. Horrible on his feet, no head movement, weak defense. Cotto is where he is today because of his power, that power will be matched with better boxing skill at 147.

You have got to be kidding? Watch the fight with Maussa and witness a complete boxing lesson. Early in his career Cotto was regarded as to much of a boxer and was to boring, watch the fight with Ceballos. Now he is considered an all out slugger by soime which is ridiculous. Watch some of his fights before the weight problems.

Buy you are a ***in idiot so I can see why you would say that.

Maybe not boy and man but there is no question that Baldomir has the experience advantage. I don't think of him as a power puncher, but he KO'd Gatti. Gatti doesn't have an iron chin but he had an average chin at 140 and was moving up. Cotto also has just an average chin and would be moving up. But I think Baldomir's chin is tested. He got hit with some major shots from both Judah and Gatti and it never appeared he was shaken. If Cotto's chin holds up... I think he wins the fight but its not easy.

i see cotto winning in a tough fight
as long as cotto doesnt try and ****
out with baldi he will win

cotto punches are short inside and
                      accurate
baldi is wide and with cotto hands up
he will block and counter all day

and his body work is impressive as well
