Good and Cotto can get his 1st loss and make Baldomier name even bigger in the welterweight division and maybe more people would watch and generate more $$ for when Floyd fights him for the belts and gets order restored in the welterweight division.

Last week I wouldn't have given Baldomir much of a chance. But after saturdays fight,I give him a very good chance.Although I would still favor Cotto by decision.

Good way for Cotto to grab a belt and look impressive at 147 against a tough guy. He'd bust up Baldomir with that left hook all night. Cotto by decision.

Cotto's just looking for an opponent now that his match with Gatti has gone by way of a 9th round KO... This fight won't happen though. At 35 years old, Baldi won't settle for nothing less than a Floyd or Hatton match.

That said, I believe Cotto would hurt Baldi in an exciting fight.

Baldy would spank Cotto. He is just too strong for him.

I'm a big cotto fan, but did any notice what was the bread and water for baldi all night? Thats correct the straight right, Cotto has been having problems with that punch, is always getting hit with it. Now I still think Cotto could win this. Cotto's defence is better that Gatti's and I think he is smarter on the ring than Gatti plus that left hook from Cotto is just devastaiting. As long as he is able to carry his power to 147, I think he should win this fight.

Good action fight. I think Cotto could take it by late round TKO/KO if he plays his cards right. Cotto is a great body puncher and has to utilize those punches. Baldomir's head is like a brick wall... Gatti hit him with some bombs and he didn't even flinch. To hurt Baldomir you have to chop at the body. If Cotto's chin can stand up for the whole night... I think he wins.

baldomir is great (and getting better every fight) at jumping inside, landing 3-5 punches, and jumping back up without taking damage. Even if he jumped in and got nailed in the face, he is so tough that it would never effect him!

Baldomir by UD with one of him most impressive performances yet!
