They have no legal basis to strip Charr. They have no legal basis to revoke Oquendo's title shot. What's preventing this is the lawsuits that would surely ensue.Comment

He won the title and scheduled his mandatory defense within the allowable time frame (a year). He failed a drug test, but the B-sample was mishandled and the failure was overturned. He scheduled another mandatory defense within the allowable time frame (a year), but the opponent chose to sue and refused to fight.
A new mandatory was ordered and Charr agreed to the fight, but the opponent's promoter (Don King) keeps delaying the fight.
There are no grounds to strip Charr.Comment

Goddammit he's stretching the rules as much as possible. I wish Don King would just give up on his boxing aspirations the snakey cu.nt.He won the title and scheduled his mandatory defense within the allowable time frame (a year). Only with the WBA can Fres Oquendo be the sympathetic figure in this f’d up saga. Let’s see. We have drug cheat Charr who gets off cuz some intern mislabeled the piss vial. Trevor Bryan represented by Don King - who nearly every client sues because of inability to get fights. Oh and won his “belt” by beating BJ Flores. Oquendo went to Chechnya and was robbed of a decision and had to deal with intimidation of a notorious warlord killer/leader in Chagaev’s corner. Is robbed of his contractual title shot how many times by a doping opponent?Comment
