"True Warriors" dont quit in the corner and run back to England.

AJ needs to stop with this tough guy talk. Hes already been humiliated and proven a coward.

Lewis did fight Rahman right away he lost the belt to McCall first and then decided to take easy fights besides Mercer 2 years after bc he had hooked up with steward afterwards who was McCalls trainer ,so no you don't know what you're talking about so whos dumb a word you couldn't spell correct ( DUM ). ? I think any true boxing fan needs to hope for that outcome in all fights just to keep this messed up sport alive. I’m getting a lot of flak for my perspective of imagining if u picked the time and place to fight someone and then u got destroyed, but then said ud fight them again but this time u get to pick the time and place again? This is why people say anytime anywhere to look the opposite of that guy.

Kind of weird how much you care about AJ...

Kovalev just got knocked out by Alvarez and came right back and got the win immediately.

Joshua vs Ruiz wasn't brutal at all. Corrales vs Castillo was way more damaging

AJ doesn't need a warm up fight for his warm up fight? What a warrior! Pride of the UK right there.

I can’t imagine auctioning a rematch clause would have been possible/easy if he took a tune up. What if Ruiz fought and lost and then someone else had the belts? Joshua would need to start negotiations from scratch and there would be no guarantee he’d get the chance to fight for them.

Joshua says he’s a serious boxer looking to cement a legacy. An immediate rematch is the high risk/high reward way of doing that. If he wins then he’s back to legend status. If he loses then he loses as a fighter. If he takes a tune up then he may not have the same chance to ever have all those belts again, and his legacy just fades away...
Great points bro, just hope Joshua doesn’t kill his career with this all in bet.

It wouldn’t be as short of a road but if got himself together it is a very calculated risk. Clearly he would be champion again.

His fan base isn’t going away they just need him to not be completely damaged goods. If he loses this fight they all walk away from the intrigue of a Wilder loss.

Mosely once met Vernon Forest. And Vernon Forest met his Ricardo Mayorga. Some times... it just makes sense to fix things and put the hard work in on the back in. The long road is the one more sure and plentiful.
